Amazing riding and loving your channel and content...Could I ask you about the Marin Alpine Trail xr as I'm looking for the one bike to do it all on and I haven't seen many reviews about the bike. Am I correct in thinking you had plenty of input regarding the design and testing? I can see you put the bike through some abuse and wanted to know how she pedals up hill for an all day epic ride with descending being the goal. I tend to pedal mainly but ride parks and up lift too. Gutted I missed you at Bike Park Wales and hope you'll return next year. Take care and keep up the amazing content.
why do many riders don't use gloves? personally I get sweaty hands and the rubber of the grips comes off during riding....also if i fall i prefer to keep my skin of my hands intact or at least a bit protected....its crazy they don't provide safety guards/rails and that they let people park their cars in the track and people randomly walking...my respects i would have died 50 times at least....and im also an enduro rider
To me, riding without gloves is like having sex without a condom... lol! I feel less connected to the bike with gloves on and mtb gloves don't offer much protection for someone like myself who has very callused hands already. I also don't get sweaty hands and my PNW loam grips shed water super well and are great gloveless.
