      Thank you for your kind words - once you get the hang of it, it's quite easy to work up and looks so pretty in different colour combinations.

    Hi! Love This pattern and want to make it for an auction to benefit a non-profit animal shelter. To make an afghan size can you estimate the yardage you used? Thank you! Your designs are just lovely!

      That's a lovely idea. My recommendation would be to make one and weigh all the yarn used. Then, multiple it by how many squares you think you'll make. You'll need to look at your yarn details to work out how many skeins/balls you will need.

    Thank you for the video! This helped a lot. Need to practice more with carrying yarn. I normally have a tight tension so the blo sc row was the hardest. Practice makes perfect though!

      Hi Joanne, yes it's a little tricky to find the right/consistent tension throughout, especially when a new design too. Glad you're practising :) keep up the hard work. X

    I'm getting ready to start making squares for a baby blanket and I'm wondering approximately how many skeins I would need of the base, background color?
    Also, your pdf is perfect. I'm excited to watch the video. Thank you!!

      Hi Amber, sorry I'm not sure, it will depend on the yarn you're using. Suprisingly it doesn't use as much as you think. x

    Very pretty. Quick question, hope you can answer my question...do you ever bury your ends as you go so you don't have to weave them in at the end? I have noticed when I bury the yarn as I go it secures the yarn and also hides more than the weave in because it is usually buried in the stitching. I bring my yarn along when doing two to four colors working them back and forth. I know this is a different pattern than when you make 2- or 4-color Granny Square. I can use almost any quilt pattern, when it is not the perfect full, half or fourth, I use the filet-style pattern to make those. I have made the Martha Washington Star Quilt in Granny Squares and it turned out pretty good. I will keep checking your site out as I have subscribed. You are really a good teacher. Also, have you made any Granny Square Quilt-Type Blankets, pillow cases, or the like? They are quite fun to make especially for a baby blanket, lap warmer, afghan, a full- to king-sized blanket. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Really beautiful things! You are very talented!

    I am not new to crochet but find this very dificult. Also, in your etsy shop please have the picture of how the back looks like as this is too complicated and still with those overlaping ends I would not give it as a present if used to make a balnket. 😢

      @theloopystitch  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great idea re the back - I can email you a photo of the back of it, everything is secured nicely as you work your yarn around with you for the rounds.
