Hey Tim, you don't go very deep nor do you leave the needle in the muscle for very long. Why not? You also don't manipulate or move around the needle in the affected muscle and adjacent areas like many others do.Why not?
PS: One thing that you do that is excellent is to add clips of where exactly the needling is taking place under the skin (where we cannot see with our eyes!) by using the skeletal samples. Thank you for doing that! Everyone else should too!
Thanks for your feedback Yale. In clinical practice, I would certainly be manipulating the needle dependant on the symptomatic response and trigger point activity. In these videos, the model is asymptomatic and I'm aiming to show safety requirements, and insertion angles rather than how to treat per se. Hope that answers your question.
My dry needling was not like this where it's all relaxing!!, I was getting stabbed over and over they were moving the needle around this here is acupuncture 😑
Hey Tim, thank you for making such productive videos. Please mention the needle size also.
Excellent video, keep up the good work!
Thank you for informative video
can this trigger point cause a loss of feeling down the arm instead of pain radiation?
too good
