Can waterjet cut forms, offset plates for printing?

Today's tests will be performed on a Maxiem machine with a micro head mounted. We will carry out tests on thin sheets with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm. These are offset plates used as printing forms. A special membrane applies paint to such a plate, which will remain in the engraved grooves. Then, by impressing, simplified as with a stamp, we transfer the print to selected surfaces of materials.
We tested various configurations - Single cut with a garnet, water only cutting and stacked cutting.
