Just picked up one last weekend as a hiking gun here in ca. Sales man was like this will not be a range gun as it wont be fun to shoot. So he got into my head a little. last Sunday went to the range and was surprised how pleasant it is to shoot. Great gun highly recommend....
Your absolutely right it’s a “pleasant” gun to shoot. I think when people hear that it’s been used to take down big game that it intimidates them. Thanks for the comment and viewing this video.
To be fair, I think it depends on the 10mm cartridge parameters, ie how hot it's loaded. many aren't loaded to potential and shoot like a 40 short and weak
I always wanted a Glock 20 but I couldn't find any in the beginning of 2020, I end up buying a Glock 21 which all they have available at that time. I later bought a barrel and 20L slide from Lone Wolf to shoot 10mm. It's like a Glock 40 clone. Now I can shoot 10MM & 45ACP on the same Glock 21 frame. Great channel by the way keep it up!
Yea the Glock 20’s are hard to find I was lucky when my gun store had one in stock so I jumped on it. The 21 has the same frame so now you have the best of both worlds.
I have the exact gun. I have owned guns over 40 years. This gun is my all time favorite. Just wish I could find a holster that will work with my light. Thanks for your videos
This is the best gun in 10 mm Gen. 3 I got it and I got all extra gun parts for the extra mags So it keeps running it's tuned and I love this gun This is the best gun to have
I’ve read on Buffalo Bore’s website (and other articles) that shooting hard cast lead out of a Glock is 100% fine. It’s a myth b/c they warn against fouling from shooting too much regular (soft) lead rounds. Hard cast won’t foul like that.
Use underwood extreme penetrators for bear and mountain lion they're solid copper and won't mess your barrel up or underwood coated hard cast it's coated so it won't hurt the barrel
I have used my Glock model 40 long slide in 10 mm on several hogs. One hog was very close to 300 lbs. The Buffalo bore ammo knocked them off their feet! seems the surface area of 10 mm really impacts the animal.
I have the Glock 20SF gen 3 with a Lone Wolf™ Alphawolf threaded barrel + a SL-1108 by SOLOFISH™. My ammo of choice is Doubletap™ 230 grain hardcast FMJ & Sellier & Bellot 180 grain FMJ.
Great choice for your weapon of choice, good all round handgun....try some double tap 200 gr hardcast fp gas check bullets. Try reloading if you can, it benefits this weapon immensely. And maybe a kkm 6" bbl.
I have birth the 20 and 29 both gen 4. I run Liberty civil defense they are 80 grain with a muzzle velocity of 2000 fps being that I am worried about over penetration ( which is a concern for the 10 mm) and also I run Fort Scott tui which is a 180 grain solid copper round designed to tumble upon impact ( hence the name tui)
I have this same gun and also the gen 4 ,I love this gun this is the one my wife keeps on hand when I hit the road, Nothing but Buffalo Bore is coming out the tube,15 rounds,You are going down like a one egg pudding
I thought that the 24 oz. figure mentioned in the video was a little light. My Ruger LC9 EDC pistol weighs about 17 ozs. empty and about 21 oz. fully loaded with 8+1 9 mm rounds.
20 is too big to edc. I got the 29. Pinky extensions , and 15 rnd with sleeves. 21 pound tungsten dual spring. Ordered an extended threaded barrel. ... might put a red dot next
It depends on your body size and preference on how concealed you want to gun to be. I like the 29 but when I shot one I had a difficult time controlling it. But when I conceal the 20 you can barely see it.
@@BIGLIPS2024 it takes two simple steps to know if the gun is clear for cleaning and disabling. 1. Drop the mag and 2. Rack it to remove round on chamber. So again ignorance doesn’t make the gun more dangerous. Also I’ve never seen Boy Scouts do firearms training .

The smoke detector needs batteries.

nice
@@ignaciosx I've bought a 40 cal kkm barrel for my G20 so now it's a 40 and 10 mil

Sounds like you need to change your smoke alarm batteries.
Lol I did

I thought about getting the slide cut for a red dot but I can’t go without my gun for weeks.

I recently heard that too, I think if you don’t clean it after shooting lead rounds it will eventually damage the barrel.

Did you put that grip tape on yourself? Really like that idea.

Wow that’s awesome. When I go hunting I’ll definitely have my 10mm with me. Thanks for the comment.

Have the Gen 3 full size. My favorite Glock. Steel guide rod and 20lb Wolff Spring. Silky Smooth.
I might have to try that 20lb spring. Wolf makes good products.
Just bought one haven’t received it yet. I live in Commifornia Pick it up in a few days to be my fishing hiking gun
Did you pick up bro I did

That’s all you need is some hard hitting Buffalo Bore!
The 10mm isn't even in the same ballpark of power as the 44 magnum.
Awesome light on it
You should go check out Razor Dobbs he took out 2 cape buffalo one that he killed was shown in his TH-cam channel
Ok thank you I’ll check him out.
@@gambinidagunman4396 he used a Dan Wesson 10mm but it's still the same concept.
@@GODWITHUS0712 oh ok I heard about that gun. I’ll definitely check it out.
Buffalo bore are 👍, if you are gonna shoot a ton of hot rounds you may want a heavier spring. NICE REVIEW, ENJOY YOUR GLOCK!!
Thank you for the comment.
JUST BOUGHT A GEN5 10MM,,,,HELL YA
Congratulations
I’m just like you. But I found a smith. I really like the smith. As much as the 20. Looking forward to a comparison video
One day they’ll let us buy the Smith chambered in 10mm. Check out my G19vsG20 video. Thanks for the comment.
G20 my favourite

Not true the 10mm hits harder than the 45. I own a 45 and waiting on my 10mm
Nice Glock
Nice gun man. I got glock gen 20 4 10mm
Cool I know your satisfied. It’s probably the most powerful Glock on the market.
Gen 4 is better. Better grip texture and better recoil spring.
Hogue grip
That's Theo
I shot the Glock 20 for the first time today. Not bad. I like the 19 better.

@vilenationgaming in the winter yeah. But summer a full size is alot
It’s not
My uncle owned a glock like this and he loved it but unfortunately he died cleaning it. So be careful cleaning this firearm
Sorry for you living in California
😂 it’s not as bad as people think but bad enough for me to leave 🤣
My brother had this gun but he died checking it to make sure it was unloaded this gun is dangerous to clean
The ignorance of the user doesn’t make it more dangerous. He didn’t know what he was doing. Had nothing to do with the gun.
@vilenationgaming no he was a expert with guns he was in the boyscouts so he knew his way around them

Wow, brother AND uncle died cleaning these. You've got a pretty stupid family.
I have one but I have too oil the bullets because they stick in the barrel when I shoot the gun
