Fr, fake skin is such a terrible way to know what you’ll look like or what the product is like. The foundation looks flawless or the highlighter looks glossy without glitter chunks. Then you buy them and its like wth is this

Me too . Like especially cause I like kpop too (fellow moarmy too 😂💜) and their skin is always so PERFECT and it makes me feel so bad about my skin and how make up looks on me ~ but it’s nice to see videos like this to remind me that in person their skin is just like mine and it’s okay to not have the “perfect” skin 💕🌟

I've been feeling down lately because my skin is the best it has ever been, but I've still been thinking that it looks terrible because when I look in the mirror it doesn't look like the pictures and videos that I'm so used to. Thank you so so so much for making this, it was a much needed reminder that even when people have skin that is as gorgeous as yours, their faces are not still 100% perfectly smooth and plastic-looking when you're this close

With so many filters available etc, it's actually very hard to know if something works or someone has used a filter when doing a makeup video! I like CT but not all her products work for me. Magic cream is not that great on me; I don't usually have dry skin but did try it for 2 weeks eons ago and it dehydrated my skin. I love the Hollywood flawless filter; it's probably the one product that I genuinely get a glow and compliments. The airbrush foundation is just one of those that I was so excited about and saw a lot of reviews and even got matched in Covent Garden when I was in the UK last year.... but it just fails on me. Within a minute of application, it breaks apart and leaves patches on my skin. It's oily and cakey too. I've used it with and without a primer, with all her powders (the compact and the white one etc) and just given up; it's such a waste of a bottle that I'm going to throw out! Light wonder on the other hand is amazing on my skin. Paired with the flawless filter, it gives me a natural no-makeup look. And I don't even have the greatest skin; I had acne in the past and and sometimes my skin is blotchy and I have scarring. But the comments I get is "You look like you're not wearing makeup but your skin is very good." The concealer is also so-so on me; that sponge always tears up before I finish using it and I'm looking for a new concealer. As I have rather hooded lids, I just don't bother with mascara; my lashes do not curl and are not more than 4mm long. It honestly just pushes mascara onto my lids. I would love to have lashes like yours; any i just wear falsies that are short (from Japan where the variety is amazing) and they take less time to apply (1 min) vs mascara (5 - 10 mins and just smudges all the time).
I like that you've shown a close-up. I think based on all the vids I've seen, I think the products work differently on everyone. Some have mixed reviews but the powder and the hollywood flawless filter are probably two who generally get positive reviews. Red and rose gold are lovely colours but it doesn't work on dark skin like mine. I'm fair and not the most olive of asians and a reddish eyeshadow like the pillow talk just makes me look sick!
You have probably been told this but you look like a grown up version of William and Kate's daughter Princess Charlotte. Just gorgeous!

we have similar makeup routine! i use my fingers on concealer, don’t use foundation but powder foundation, no countor or anything to darken my skin. natural eyeshadow, a little bit of blush and done🥰 people actually didn’t know i did makeup until after the gym, every one was like U WEAR MAKEUP?? lol i guess it looks really natural 😼
This is one of my favorite TH-cam makeup tutorials...actually maybe my favorite ever! And I’ve been watching them for 10+ years! I love that you didn’t blow out your skin and got close up so we can actually see what’s working and what’s not. I can’t even watch 75% of the beauty youtubers anymore because of how blown out and edited they are. Most of us watch TH-cam beauty videos to see how things actually work...not to stare at a fake perfect face. Hahaha. Anyway, besides that I love the look you did so much too! Gorgeous! Which colour are you with the foundation’s?
This is probably my favourite makeup tutorial ever!! I keep coming back to it because I have the same kind of hooded eyes and I’m trying to go more natural and minimal with my makeup as I did before. Also it’s super relaxing and refreshing to see someone being brave enough to actually show their skin and “imperfections” up close! Honestly you’ve done such a good job, I appreciate it.
Have you tried the magic foundation and if so what do u think about it?

Magic cream feels nice on skin but if you have sensitive eyes I don't recommend, burns my eyes so bad but contour and highlight wands lipliner eyeshadow etc from her are amazing.:)

the beauty wand is my absolute FAVORITE highlighting product!!!. Try applying on bare skin then foundation or concealer as normal, it just gives your base that extra jushhh
