CPD K9 Officer's Journey to America's Top Dog Winner

- In January, 2020, Cocoa PD's K9 Officer Dan Rhoades and K9 Bear won their episode of America's Top Dog. Team Bear brought home $10,000 which was donated to Cocoa High School for its track and field improvement project. Officer Rhoades tells what it was like on his journey to America's Top Dog.
Police dogs are very special, as are the officers who handle them 👏

Love german shepherds glade to see them out preform the belgum Malinios. Which I also like. Some people are quick to say that the belgum malicious is going to push the german shepherd into retirement. They forget about the german shepherd is vary smart.

Great story I so respect these beautiful animals and their trainers. I turned on my phone cuz I really needed to see animals cuz I'm just so tired of people in their misery towards others. I was letting it affect me this morning and the story just helped me get out of that terribleness thank God for animals. and thank you. God bless you Merry Christmas to you and your families

Both of them great on the job is police office man and german sharper dog.
Bear is pretty smart along with his handler. I had a boy named Troop who was a black and tan with true blue eyes in '84. We went running everwhere. I never put him on a leash yet he stayed and went everwhere i suggested. When i waited for a light to change he would lay down then when i made a click sound he was up ready. Even profesdors at UGA were very impressed when he tried making human sounds at 5-6 months old.
