Hey Jake, I love this. As someone who doesn’t play a wide variety of Pokémon this gives me more confidence to try out a new Pokémon without having to put lots of work in to understand it. Would love you to make a playlist of all Pokémon like this
Nothing to do with the video, but just wanted to say again You all did a phenomenal job casting the EU Aeos cup, and It was an absolute pleasure meeting you, cris, doob, and zoinks all in person
I've come to accept the B tier. Like most things in life, we have to take the good with the bad, everything is on a spectrum, life isn't binary. The B tier is a necessary part of this whole experience, without it, how could we have an A tier or S? If nothing else, the existence of the B tier allows us all to see how S-tier S tier pokemon truly are in their moment of S. B tier is like that bitter-cold winter leading into an A tier spring and S tier summer. Nom-S-tae everyone 🙏
Always enjoy these guide videos even if I don't play the topic pokemon, good to know how mons work in order to counter them. I love the blizzard build for Ninetales, it's so satisfying cutting someone off and hitting them with a huge blizzard.
I have loved playing A9 since the game came out, its my favorite pokemon to play in the game. But wow playing this pokemon in high ranks is hard. I play everyones favorite chomper now, but im patiently waiting for my guy to be good 😅
A9 really needs a buff, its amazing when you do well, but that's sadly not the norm.. P.S I look forward to seeing you at worlds, your casting is AMAZING!
It stuns very well ngl. I dont think it needs a buff. If anything, the only thing that needs to be changed abt the whole game is the fact that so many pokemon can survive too long
If you want to achieve better results and get better exclusively with the Blizzavalanche build, you need to use Blizzard first then Avalanche immediately after as explained at 3:06. The reason I say this is because it enables you to perform your combo quicker and it's less dodge-able if you catch your victim in Blizzard's shove first and then Avalanche's wall. The only downside is that it this version of the combo is much less forgiving and is a little bit easier to screw up if you haven't extensively practiced the combo. Tl;dr quicker combo makes it easier to be successful with this moveset.
YOU SHOULD MAKE VIDEOS LIKE THIS FOR EVERY POKEMON TBH IVE BEEN WAITING FOR U TO GET MORE DETAILED ABOUT EACH POKEMON AND ALL THE DIFFERENT MOVE SETS, ITEMS, ETC I ALSO THINK U SHOULD DO A VIDEO ABOUT TEAM WORK, SOLO AND STRATEGIES FOR BOTH ALSO IF U MADE SOME FUN VIDEOS ABOUT A WHOLE TEAM OF DEFENDERS , SPEEDSTERS, ETC ID REALLY APPRECIATE LOVE YA BRO ✌️
Great video Jake! As somebody who has played A9 alot I thought it covered just about everything. There is just one thing I would add and it's about A9's passive. The snow does a great job of of calling out hidden pokemon in the bushes. Very useful when moving across the map or arriving at an objective first or something. Surprise attack is always strong but she's so squishy you always need to be on your toes.
honestly aurora veil and avalanche with slowsmoke is so much more fun every enemy is gonna panic when theyre suddenly outnumbered, caged in and half life
Man, i REALLY love those kind of content. Those guides are super helpful and its great that you even tell something about the cheesy builds. Keep going.
When I play A9, because I’m a psycho, I like to run Blizzard/dazzling gleam with scarf, shell bell and either slick spoon or muscle band. I know it isn’t necessarily Meta, but i find the stun pushback combo very satisfying
I may be a new subscriber and a new unite player, all of this advice for Unite you've given me and the whole YT community helped me become a better player quickly! I try to spare time to get a look at older videos and seek more advice, but maybe you could do Garchomp or Charizard, I have both but I'm not sure if I'm using them right, if you haven't done one of them, it would mean the world to me if you made an ultimate guide on one of my favourites, thanks!
OMG IT'S MY BAE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Alolan Ninetales is a Pokémon that's seen me through several seasons, and I'm still comfortable playing it. I'm happy you're teaching others about Alolan Ninetales, too. Blizzard/Avalanche was the build I played first but Dazzle/Aurora is what I play now. Is the Blizzard/Avalanche set still viable? Either way, you have my respect for this guide. I sincerely appreciate it. o7
Ninetales is actually my Main attacker in Pokemon Unite since I did win lots of games with it before and even though I do lose with it once in a while it is because of the teammates like machamp guarding the zone or some other mons in the same area too.
Hi Jake, I always face one only annoying problem with Avalanche/Blizzard Ninetales, I try to explain it the best I can. The best option always seems to be attacking with Blizzard first and creating the Avalanche wall while the Blizzard shot is on the run. This grants two advantages: 1) fastest hit, 2) balanced cooldown between the two moves. The problem is that if more than one target is in range, aiming with Avalanche can be a real problem. For example, you have in range Enemy X and Enemy Y. Enemy Y has less HP than Enemy X. You want to target Enemy X (higher HP). Blizzard travel towards enemy X. You then press R button to start aiming with Avalanche. In this particular moment, the move starts aiming from Enemy Y position (lower HP). This can make pretty difficult creating the wall in Blizzard direction. I wonder if you ever noticed this issue and if you found some kind of solution changing particular control settings.
I can just see the other teammates in the second game complaining that their a9 never fought with the team and stole their jungle. But they don’t realize that they’re engaging in the wrong team fights and are giving up their own jungle 😂
Ultimate Pikachu Guide!!! Step 1 - Pick Volt tackle Electro Ball Step 2 - Press the two move buttons for 10 minutes, and also the 3rd button(Unite move) whenever it is available to be pressed.
Newcomer to the game here and have 100% win rate with Ninetails, in your tier list from 13 days ago you said Ninetails was terrible - had it been majorly buffed recently?
The wind box of icey wind is smaller than the hit box use that to your advantage also with Aurua veil take advantage of that splash damage that boosted basic does its easy to line up but it takes proper positioning
Hey man, thanks for putting up content for this community :) I do have a question though, and i cannot seem to find an answer on this: In my opening menu, while playing on the switch, the "press zl to open menu" will not go away. lol id like to press x so i can collect my freebees on the opening page :) Thanks again! keep doing you my man!
You've watched too much spragels content when you instantly understand that when Jake says something is "interesting", he actually means that it is one of the worst things.
A9 is similar to Pikachu , both have lots of stubs. And deal lots of sp atk damage ,other than A. Veil to help the team . .and A9 has pushes But both are great CC.
Maining ninetails in solo q i am much more comfortable with Dazzling Gleam/Blizzard, I can see how Avalanche/Blizzard can be objectively better but in solo Q currently in Expert 5 rank I find players do some really goofy things and Im forced to be my own peel. Like my last 3 matches had a player run straight down my lane to harass the enemy and ultimately lose because they had no farm except for one bulbasaur who apparently was the best goofy goober having the best time dancing in the enemies face
Ninetales is such a weird case. She was meh for a long time, got some buffs and finally was in a good spot….then it got nerfed and went back to being meh again. It’s weird how the dev team let other mons basically rule the meta for months on end (mime, absol, urshifu) but other mons barely get anything and when they do get something, they’re like “Actually no” and take it away. Ninetales deserves more love
Having 10% crit rate is not cheese on A9. You’ll likely get at least one crit per veil, oftentimes multiple, and no other build will provide the same amount of additional damage.
Ninehails is better than players give it credit for; an attacker that slows and stuns with the option of going ability damage or focusing on basic attacks
Keep making videos with off meta guides. For people like me who have only 30 or so mons , its annoying only finding guides from other YTs for the most Broken new Mons.
Let me know what guide you would like to see next!
garde? 👀
Zoroark!
dragonite. i love outrage DD and have been able to be a menace in tough fights but i feel im playing very suboptimally
Would love to see a Lapras Guide
Lapras or grade would be fire
Hey Jake, I love this. As someone who doesn’t play a wide variety of Pokémon this gives me more confidence to try out a new Pokémon without having to put lots of work in to understand it. Would love you to make a playlist of all Pokémon like this
Glad to hear it!
as a returning player, I agree! Even if I don’t want to play them, I watch these guides to know what my opponents are doing.
Alolan Ninetales may fit in an odd spot in the current meta, but still one of my favourites to play, so very fun with both movesets.
I agree it’s super fun
ninetales can be annoying when you try to hunt down an enemy melee and suddenly ninetales casts a wall in front of you
Nothing to do with the video, but just wanted to say again
You all did a phenomenal job casting the EU Aeos cup, and It was an absolute pleasure meeting you, cris, doob, and zoinks all in person
Thank you!!!
A9 is so annoying to deal with with its slow, freeze and knockbacks
But the problem is, A9 is the only regional variant we have
We should have more regional variants
People say A9 is bad, but what's really bad is the fact that we STILL have the B tier
EXACTLY
I've come to accept the B tier. Like most things in life, we have to take the good with the bad, everything is on a spectrum, life isn't binary. I’d love to see some buffs for it for sure
If I remember correctly, frozen isn’t only doable by Ninetales. So when you have a Mamoswine, it can be very fun to take a Ninetales
Glaceon’s freeze dry and Lapras’s ice beam also freeze!
it's great laning with especially mamoswine so you can easily line up that max power snow globe with the freezes from mamoswine
A9 really needs a buff, its amazing when you do well, but that's sadly not the norm..
P.S I look forward to seeing you at worlds, your casting is AMAZING!
Very kind of you. Thank you.
It doesn't. Its stun locks are already 😊absurd. If anything, the other CC-oriented mons need to be netfed.
It stuns very well ngl. I dont think it needs a buff. If anything, the only thing that needs to be changed abt the whole game is the fact that so many pokemon can survive too long
33:44 epic clutch yeeehawww 🎉
It really was
We really need more of those. This is awesome. 🎉
Gonna try to get back to one a week
I'm glad Jake finally said it. SOMEONE had to say it, cheese really does taste great
I'm a truth teller
Jake I saw you at the eu championships a 2 days ago, I was nervous to say hi but it was nice to see you
Very cool! Say hi next time
@@spragels I tried to but they (security) wouldn't let me

Fun idea!
The way you dodged that Mew's solar beam, fantastic play man!
I'm an A9 main and I experimented with a blizzard/dazzling gleam build. Essentially you give up a consistent wall to get a stun. It's pretty fun.
I'm never gonna play this thing, but I'm still gonna watch this anyways
OK, let's see what you got with the most beautiful pokemon in the game.
verry pretty
Im glad you did a guide, been wanting to learn this pokemon.
Man, i REALLY love those kind of content. Those guides are super helpful and its great that you even tell something about the cheesy builds. Keep going.

I think the deci in game 2 was just geeking out at the fact they ended up in a game Jake.
Ninetales is actually my Main attacker in Pokemon Unite since I did win lots of games with it before and even though I do lose with it once in a while it is because of the teammates like machamp guarding the zone or some other mons in the same area too.

I love the "aim for enemy close" option. This still can happen, but then you have a different problem!! (self positioning 😍😍)
I can just see the other teammates in the second game complaining that their a9 never fought with the team and stole their jungle. But they don’t realize that they’re engaging in the wrong team fights and are giving up their own jungle 😂
Great guide! It would be great if you could make a video of your top 5 most useful emblem pages for people who play all roles

FIRST YESSSS
YEEEEHAW
Am I crazy boy for really liking dazzling gleam and blizzard?
I always had a grudge against ninetails from all the way to season 1.
Bring more of ultimate guide of every Pokemon 😊😊😊😊😊 please 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the heart ❤️❤️
You should do a Glacion guide next. I love that Pokémon and more people should definitely play it
We only waited over a hundred days for another ultimate guide vid 🗿
Goodra or Dragapult
fun ideas
Hey man, thanks for putting up content for this community :)
I do have a question though, and i cannot seem to find an answer on this:
In my opening menu, while playing on the switch, the "press zl to open menu" will not go away.
lol id like to press x so i can collect my freebees on the opening page :)
Thanks again! keep doing you my man!
Yee
Good to see you smalls
Yes it is
You've watched too much spragels content when you instantly understand that when Jake says something is "interesting", he actually means that it is one of the worst things.
I didn't know that you get more damage on the Unite if the opponent is frozen. Cool.
Can I use focus band, muscle band and razer claw or scope lens with either build?
great video
i'm not ashamed to admit that when you pointed your finger in the intro i put mine to yours.
that was such a wild steel lol.
Yee haw
yeeeeehaw!!!
Could a red green Emblem build work for the dazzle Veil build?
The guy on voice chat sounds like the adults on Charlie brown😂😂
Uhhhmm can I request you make a guide for buzzwole it's just wanted to play that efficient especially in solo grinding
A9.. my season 8 masters champion ❤ I still love using her. Both builds are a lot of fun. Now if we can get some buffs in a patch soon. :)
Couldn't agree more
The Tree in that second game was very simple minded 😢
A9 is similar to Pikachu , both have lots of stubs. And deal lots of sp atk damage ,other than A. Veil to help the team . .and A9 has pushes
But both are great CC.
I run defensive badges Grey purple pink blue white.
Avalanche + Blizzard is my moveset for Ninetales! I mainly use a stacking set with special attack specs for her
As an A9 main with an unusual moveset (aura veil and avalanche) it's nice to relearn the basics of this character
I accidentally selected this build the other day and it surprisingly didn’t feel that bad. I’m sure it’s not the optimal, but it felt fun.
Substitutions for mew emblem?
alolan nine blizzard build needs a buff especially since all the newer attackers have great cc and ninetails needs to hit both of its moves to cc
Maining ninetails in solo q i am much more comfortable with Dazzling Gleam/Blizzard, I can see how Avalanche/Blizzard can be objectively better but in solo Q currently in Expert 5 rank I find players do some really goofy things and Im forced to be my own peel. I have played a lot of A 9 but did not understand all of these hidden mechanics

Ninehails is better than players give it credit for; an attacker that slows and stuns with the option of going ability damage or focusing on basic attacks
That A9 you got paired with really angered you this much, huh?
lol
Cinderace or Charizard next
No more Zacian meta, give me my OG character roster meta
Ninetails, Crustle, Pikachu, Snorlax, those kinda mons
Idk who I should get:
Dragonite punches with Outrage
Buzzwole drains the life out of ya
Goodra great counter against Feint attack sableyes
A9 is an amazing attacker for the low ranks. She only really struggles at higher play
Damn I'm early
hi hi!
Held Items Reveal Please!!! 😘😍🥰

Good call
WHY DO I STILL NOT HAVE A BEEDRILL EMBLEM
I'm a A9 God 💯🙏🏿🔥👌🏾 Frost-70°
Jake items for avalanche build ?
yup its in the vid
Is energy amp worth putting instead of choice specs?
It’s possible but usually not necessary
@@spragels Thank you!
This is really helpful jake, Check it Out!
Check it out indeed
WE WANT FREEZE TEAM
Falta una build más, brillo mágico+ventisca, los enemigos no se te pueden acercar jaja
I hope they add the Kanto Ninetales (Tʖ̯T) i wish ⭐
I dont understand why people think its bad rn
I know it was on bots but i think when i made 155k on alolan ninetails it was pretty good XD
Right?
