Derelict Rotting House - Isle Of Wight

Filmed back in 2015.
I believe this old building is still there, but no doubt in an even worse state.
Such a shame that places get left to fall apart and rot like this.
It's in a lovely location and looks out over woodland & fields...

What a shame such a lovely building is left to go to ruins, probally be sold off and poxy flats put in its place.

If only sumbod cud save it n do it back up 2 its former glory. It's so sad these big houses left 2 ruin n yet build houses like rabbit hutches n chuck em up in wks which ave no character wots so ever.

Lovely old place, hasn't been derelict that long, as it has one of those digital leccie meters, and some MCBs as well as fuses. Looks to be beyond salvation now. Looks as if it was in institututional use, a Scouts summer retreat, kid's home, as it has fire alarms and those plastic chairs so loved by those places. There's many derelicts where I am that are like this, Normanhurst Court near Battle was demolished in the 50's. But the outbuildings looked just as if someone had moved out yesterday in parts, even in the 90's. The philistines soon came, the water tower and all the Victorian machinery therein went first, I have the worksplate off the engine in there. Then the FILTH came, Failed In London Try Hastings, and what historic buildings remaining were demolished or made into flats for more FILTH. No thought, needless to say, for out-priced locals, just greed.

Joe dodson yeh would make a great home again for someone to rebuild and lived in it's the sole of the house to have people living in it. Good luck on finding out about the place.
