I lost 2 cats this year 1from cancer at 14 years old (feral cat) and 1 month later a 5 year cat (unexpected) our fault we did not notice the symptoms thought he was just depressed! Devastating to my husband he was very attached to our boy Jasper! 3 weeks later I came home and my husband told me to go get Squiggy our remaining cat a friend he was to depressed. I set up appointment to see kittens at a shelter in our area. I came home with 2 kittens! (1 is special needs waiting to get her into my vet). 1 week later I was at work and a woman came through my register and asked for my help in finding home for a kitten she found ( she is highly allergic and has had kitten 1 month to heal her eye infection) but scared in ability to care for it because of her allergy! I took her number hoping to find kitten a home. As I was telling my husband about my day and story of kitten he said "I guess we are getting another kitten" I said no I was just telling you about what happened! He said"what"s 1 more go get the baby! Just have to say this is not my husbands usual response at all!! Needless to say we now have 1 older cat and 3 kittens and also 3, 50 plus pound dogs that I make food for. Hoping to get Phoebe (special needs )in to vet this week. Our hearts are consumed with our furbabies, whether we expect health issues or not, we always want and work for the Best possible outcome. Sorry so long but need to share! I am an introvert with not many people to express my thoughts with. Here I feel I have people to understand how I think and feel.

That cabin looked really neat: we used to own a very rustic one in Pine Grove (northern California). Poor Dharma kitty! Hoping she improves soon. We have a huge no soliciting sign right above the doorbell and we put a sticker on the Ring doorbell itself saying not interested in solar sales, which is mainly what we get, they just blatantly ignore them. We've even opened the door and asked them if they can read. Yet they persist.
