Size medium, 5'7. I too will likely get the new bike next year. Am hoping for an internal horizontal rear shock, we'll see. Love the Ransom, does everything I need and more.. don't see myself going anywhere else 👌
@@Kandalf8989 large or x-large sounds like it would be just right, try riding both and what feels right 🤙. Scott just released the internal shock on the Genius model, I'm waiting for that to happen on the upcoming Ransom. I would have bought a new Ransom this year, but looks like next year will be it. I'm hooked on Ransom 💪
@@sickygnargnarmtb so i just reviewed this news about new scott genius, well the design is not smart at all, first of all how you going to tune your suspension somewhere on the trail without unscrewing bottom part of frame. I mean very long discussion (about that), but i just realised it's time to buy 2022 ransom, if this is future. Internal shock's are going to be pain in the ass..
@@Kandalf8989 I really like the internal styling of the bike, looks incredible! This design is actually pulled from a company Scott acquired a few years ago called Bold Cycles. If you look through their website, you'll see the integration of the shock on a few models (horizontal and vertical setting). The unplugged model is the closest thing to the Ransom, but I have a feeling Scott will refine it. Looking forward to seeing the outcome, super excited 🤩
