Gordon Ramsay will never find me here
Hes already commented on this video actually. Hiding in a place he already looked is a good tactic
WHERE IS THE FUCKING LAMB SAUCE
i'm telling gordon ramsay
Damn it he already left, somebody go get him
@@KeizerSosebee Wait where?
Wow, England and France are still fighting lmao.
Ball Tripping oh shit
And she's American lmao
@@kieran1129 America and the uk are st fighting
This is where history books got it wrong. The Hundred Years war is still ongoing between the English and French, its just they are not fighting for land and with weapons anymore, but just words.
Old rivalries don't die
Seriously the hardest choice to make for who won.
Gordon’s whole “drop the bouillabaisse” verse goes crazy with the “YES CHEF” in the background, and has impeccable flow
Julia’s insults are TOP TIER (seriously, “the pissiest bitch in the kitchen” is solid gold) and I’m super impressed at being her able to keep her accent going while roasting the shit out of Gordon.
I do personally give it to Gordon, mostly because half of Julia's disses are untrue which doesn't help.
His verse was mid for the most part, but the later half of his second verse was his best
@@Minecraftlover73gotta agree with you.. All she was dissing him about was his attitude.. Like he has both a good attitude and bad..good with kids and bad with dumbass adults🤷♀️
Gordon’s roasts were constantly fresh and ever-changing. With Julia, her roasts got stale after her first verse. Gordon’s verse is actually in my top 5 of all time, while Julia’s doesn’t even crack the top 40.
For me, the “poor abused youth…huge douche” line in the first verse is top shelf. Maybe unpopular opinion, but I think Julia Child absolutely destroyed, as long as you know Ramsay’s history and the psychology behind his behavior.
Always impressed how Lloyd can pull of so many different looks and characters well
He doesn't even need make-up to look like them either 😂

the one identifying factor for me is that he’s short, that’s all I can use to find if he’s the actor or not (ignoring desc)

@@g8tr80 True. But with that taken as granted, he's damn good still. Even with the small indicators, short stature, and with great makeup. The fact he's so effective voice wise is the true indicator of talent to me

“Fear, my dear boy, is less scrumptious than joy” is such a brilliant line! Kitchen *Nightmares* versus The *Joy* of Cooking. Also yes; it just clicked with me today while I was standing in the kitchen singing this to myself in my head 😄
It also references the fact that pennywise and marry sue are related in some way. She says that she is Mary sue and says that Gordon Ramsay is pennywise. Pennywise feeds on fear while marry sue feeds on joy.
@@TheSmartGuy-yk7toWait what verse? I must have missed this
Everybody talking about Julia Child performance, but that Gordon Ramsay flow and slowly ascending till he almost gave her the jacket was really on point!
No kidding. I was more impressed by how natural he got the Blue team to flow in as hype and not get in his way.
I am personally of the belief that gordon won this.
@@booey316 Honestly that section got him the victory from me. I think Julia Child had better lines but the flow for that entire Blue Team section was just TOO good
My mom just got Julia Child’s books for her birthday and indeed on page 408 there’s a recipe involving calf brains.
lol
Does it taste... good?
dont be squimish, it´s delicious
Just remember Ramsey is from Scotland, home of Haggis.
And I thought Ramsey was scary...
I adored when she made a slice in the butter, left the small piece, and put the rest of the massive chunk on toast.
It was lard. A big ole block of rendered hog fat. Best way to make pie crusts, and biscuits.

The whole thing's great but this is my favorite part
It's such a great low-key parody of competitive cooking show moments, with the ERB logo thrown in like an ad break bumper in a real show
“I got exactly 2 minutes” from ERBs introduction to the end of his rap, exactly 2 minutes runtime.
Now that’s attention to the details
This was the most intense thing I've ever watched, like jesus there was 0% chill in this battle

This one was close but man I've gotta give it to Julia Child. That accent, ooh it just brings each line to life and to rap while doing it is insane!!! And on top of that, emaculate flow and devastating lines.
Also, one thing I've noticed is that Child is always cooking in her parts, reflecting how, as one of the first cooking shows, her public imagine was limited to largely cooking instruction, whereas Gordon Ramsey's working with camera crews, a team of chefs, and all around doing anything BUT cooking, as his shows are all about roasting terrible kitchens and his public image is more of a critic than a chef.
Once again, amazing planning from ERB.

The absolute perfect person for this role. Love her. 😂
How on earth she managed to rap consistently with that accent, that is talent in spades.
I'm pretty sure she's a TH-cam chef, but her rapping ain't half bad.
@@hudsonruff9208 Mamrie made drinks on TH-cam - Her series is called "You Deserve a Drink." Her friend Hanna Hart came up with My Drunk Kitchen where she'd get drunk and cook stuff.
Julia Child literally pounded a decapitated chicken with a hammer and produced a fine glass of white wine. Now that’s true culinary talent.
I think it was a bull’s penis like in that British guys show fill your guts or spill your guts that looks like it

Coming back to this battle after learning about Julia Child and watching her shows (the show she did with Jacques Pepin is great), I have to say that the portrayal of Julia Child is absolutely spot-on. The voice. The way she leans on the table. Even the way she rolls her eyes and inclines her head. One of the finest guest performances in ERB, if you ask me.
I had a grandma who watched her so I got hooked even for a time believed my future was in cooking. She was one of those people I adored to watch she was so human and easygoing trying to make people see how awesome and fun cooking can be honestly I wanted to meet her.
She was good at poking fun at herself or using a mistake as a way to give helpful tips to fix cooking accidents.
I believe I could see her being sassy like that if someone really was being a dbag to her.
Then again she was from a time when being part of the secret predecessor of FBI and CIA I mean a socialite who was a spy yet cooking was her goal.
I must say he probably would be a fanboy to her as she was the TV cooking show queen if not for her no other trendy cooking show hosts ever would have had a change.
She made people believe cooking at home could be better than using overly processed stuff. The person playing both these two did a fantastic job of playing these tv chefs IMO. Well done
I used to hate Julia Child's verses because her voice was really grating. But after rewatching this a few times, I've gotten used to how amazing her lines are.
Yeah, Julia worked in the US government station in France during WW2 what we would call the CIA today. So, Gordon can't win when she could play with his head with those verses.
@@Spitfirethedragon how's that any relevant though?
@@OmoriSupportsPalestine_143 She did it to get him mad to reveal something that she could use against him. That she did with him being pissed. She also got him because on one of his shows, he ate Rocky Mountain Oysters which are balls from bulls.
@@Spitfirethedragon what???
I mean, it's accurate to how she sounded in real life. I'll take an attempt to recreate an iconic voice like this over some basic-ass generic voice that doesn't sound like the person they're playing sounds like. (John McClane for example.)
"I'd call you donkey, but you look more like Shrek"

That was a lame bar
"you scream at woman, but the fits that your pitching, make you the pissiest bitch in the kitchen" Julia stole the show with that
as she cranks that gigantic damn pepper grinder haha if you've seen her cooking shows that's so legit
I really do love that line, it's just perfect.
And the huge douche line too
I freaking love that line!
No of course. Almost every show Ramsey is on is, "Here, let me scream at you for failing"
5 stars on Yelp
I love how Child was being overly positive the whole time, and Ramsey is just pissed off🤣
Really portrays how they would act, Ms Julia Child never showed anger in any of her shows, while Chef Gordon's known for being positively aggressive.
it was a tie
I just watched this for the first time a few weeks ago and I've probably re-watched it over 30 times since then. I honestly think this is my favorite ERB and that's really saying something. You all absolutely killed it with this. The flows, the writing, the beats, the characterization, the props and sets, everything was so freakin' good. Love you guys.
Happed to me too
“Here’s a nice amuse bouche take a poor abused youth set a thirty year timer vola huge douche”. This was genius and a huge burn.
Haha, most people in the comments can't follow a true hip hop diss when its complex. Those bars were dope. Lol
That was soooo cool
I’m more partial to Gordon just because I look up to the man but between that line, the “as a person, couldn’t get a star on Yelp,” the “pissiest bitch in the kitchen,” and “eat a dick, Bon appetit”...I wanna hand this one to Julia. Those bars hurt my feelings lol.
Yeah that was hilarious lol, the whole "Here take this jacket" must be one of his shows references, and if you hadn't seen whatever show it kinda leaves ya thinking "huh, what in the world does that mean"
Agreed. Best line
I love it how when Julia cuts a piece of butter, she takes the bigger piece.

Thank you! Her rhymes were well thought out and referenced, someone did their homework and payed homage to her accomplishments in her lifetime.
Nobody got the well-done joke?
No but have you seen the Austin powers one. Literally SPOT ON
up there with walter white's impression
Julia Child is insane in this video, clear winner imo. “I’ve got this in the bag, SOUS VIDE” 😂
This one ERB never fails to make me smile the moment I hear that beginning jingle. Absolutely one of ERBs best.
Best flow: Julia Child
Best diss: Gordon Ramsay
Overall winner: blue team
yes chef
This comment is gonna blow up, I can tell.
Overall winner: the rosato
yas queen

I surprised Gordon didn't say "ITS FUCKING RAW"
Ellie BrookeTV "You call these rhymes raw? They're stale and soft." Could even a subtle reference.
YOU DON'T MICROWAVE A FUCKING SALAD!!!
GameThruz from kitchen nightmares correct?
CaptainEPic 34 exactly
CaptainEPic 34 yep
I love that moment of silence and that burger flip and then straight back it was amazing!!! I’m mind-blown to pieces and I can’t decide, both of them won in my book, my favorite epic rap battle ever this was amazing after watching it for the first time after 7 years when it came out 😂
This is such an underrated rap battle, it’s one of the few episodes that actually gives me goosebumps it’s so hype idec
Gordon Ramsey’s comment said “Even with that pretty questionable English accent, it’s pretty clear who won”
For those of y’all who haven’t seen it
He lost though
Questionable is a big understatement
He said Scottish accent, he isn’t English..
@@2ratz1game33 yeah never confuse Scots for the English. More tension there than between the Mandos and well... everyone.
what happened to his comment?
The intro was AMAZING!!!
Wow they’re still hearting comments? Nice
Facts, that intro might be one of their bests.
Same!!!!
It was
And that's how you make a perfect intro
Julia Child ate so well I need an entire album now.
Pun intended?
Perfect on both sides. Tie.
Great Diss's, badass flows, vibes and character interpretation is spot on. No wonder it has millions of views. 👍👍🤙
Samuel L Jackson vs. Morgan Freeman.
Give this man a Nobel prize
ok
holy shit, genius!
I can't like this enough
feat Will Smith
Surprised no one talks about how good the blue team part is. The "YES CHEF" with the beat is so clean.
It is an extremely well produced audio track. That season was their peak in production value, both for audio and for visuals.
isn’t jt
The timing and addition was a great touch, BUT, Julia doesn't NEED an entire team. :)
@@RobertJRoman couldn't agree more.
I will say… I noticed that the blue team themselves didn’t actually cook lmao
Gordon's opening verse has to be one of my all time favorites.
This remains, after all these years, still the only rap battle that makes me hungry af!
