This is one of the reasons why I do not want Gerrard to return to Liverpool earlier. I hope he does not rush things and enjoy his managerial career by managing more teams in UK and abroad before returning to Liverpool so he can gain more skills and experiences.
Like the owner! No place for sentiment when trophies is the name of the game. I mean that's what Roman has brought to the Bridge, right? It wasn't Lampard's time and he'll have to wait for the second bite of the cherry. It was a little arrogant critiquing Klopp with the sheer gulf of managerial experience between them (also trophies). Lamp's should of taken some pointers or applied to be Klopp's assistant he would have learnt a few things ;-)

Putting Lampard here is a harsh one for a man who came and revolutionized the whole squad with youth players with no experience and developed them into top players which in turn helped the club save a lot of money in transfer fees and got into top 4 and into a fa cup final with all the obstacles he had to face......For this ppl have to remember that he will never be a failure at chelsea and his reputation will remain intact no matter what
There’s a stat that shows chelsea were on the same amount on points from games played this season compared to last, yeah with the signings we should have been doing better but the players lampard didn’t even want weren’t performing so it wasn’t his fault

Harsh to put Frank Lampard on this list, every manager gets a chance to turn things around, Lampard did not. He got Chelsea to a cup final and Champions League without spending any money. That alone doesn't seem like a failure to me. I hope he returns better honestly.
Few sports are more fickle than soccer. Lampard was beloved by so many until he wasn't winning enough. Then he was a total failure. Hope he finds a good job soon.
I think putting Frank Lampard in this list is very harsh his first season he had a transfer ban yet blooded in the youth lost Eden Hazard yet qualified for the Champions League and reached the FA Cup Final yes his second season want great but have you seen arsenal this season
I guess Zidane is the only former best player to ever succeed as both a player and coach. Neverthless that old nigerian coach who passed away, I forgot his name.
I don't think Lampard failed at Chelsea the players are the ones who failed they deserve the blame for disgracfully failing to perform and giving up on a club legend
Lampard was so far of from a failure, that it is embarrasing you put him on this video. He took Chelsea to 4th (losing 3rd on goal difference) while spending the least amount of money in the league while using a bunch of Championship u-21 players. Lampard is also the 4th longest serving manager (out of 15) in the Abramovic era behind Mourihno, Conte and Ancelotti. He also got sacked in litteraly his first bad period in charge.

As an Ajax supporter since the late 90's, I can say that every word in Van Basten's inclusion was unfortunately 100% spot on.
A player and a coach is a different skills, I guess

That is why they put him on the list. Because he was really crap.
