I drove the loop in the middle of January this year and barely spotted one gator almost fully submerged. That was it! There were lots of black vultures. This is really great footage!
A necessary evil sometimes. I used music in the first half to cover bad audio due to talking or passing trucks. The second half is like most of my videos, strictly natural sounds.
great video, Love the Loop road.. drive every chance I get! Music was very cool... the rhythm fit right in! Thank you very.much!
Been a while for me. I need to get back down there again!

Thanks! We must have been lucky with the water level on our trip. Kept them close.
It depends what time of the year you go.. getting closer to the dry season is better, most gators are out..
Huh gators submerged in winter?!?!?
that was totally blind mind excellent thank you
A most original comment, to be sure!
Nice! Water levels are super low so we see a higher concentration of critters (gators) as they gather where there's water to be had.
I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm glad there were large water holes near the road. :)
I like the music! Goes great with the video!
Had a little jungle vibe going.
What time of year did you film this? I I’m amazed at the amount of gators. Excellent video one of my favorite spots to visit.
This was filmed the morning of April 6th, 2021. There were so many we drove by a some without filming.
This looks like a lot of people have viewed this one. Those gators......
It's consistently my most watched per week. Must be the thumbnail ;)
Why do you do your hiking by driving an AUTOMOBILE Alafia Hiker?
Oh, this hiker explores using all different methods, and not just along the Alafia River.
We can do without the music
