So awesome that these are dairy free! My baby is allergic to dairy and I'm nursing so I have to be dairy free for Christmas this year. I'm definitely going to make these!
OH MY GOSH, me too. How old is your baby? My 8 month son is sensitive to dairy so I can only have very small amounts, very sparingly. It has been tough!
I'm having a cookie emergency! I made a bad batch of dough, and this recipe looks amazing. I think my grandmother will be getting these cookies instead for Christmas.
Instead of using cocoa powder, can I melt some semi sweet chocolate chips (and adjust amount of granulated sugar)? If so, how much of the chocolate chips do I need? Thanks!
omg thank you , thank you so much I was looking for this recipe. thanks a lot you used oil instead of butter as I can't use butter. I have a question Can I replace cocoa powder with regular flour in order to make simple vanilla crinkle cookies.? please reply. Bless you.
Would I be able to make the dough on Christmas Eve, chill them all night, and bake them the next day when I need to? There's going to be a lot of cooking and the kitchen is small. I'm trying to think about convenience.
Yeah, sorry about that. We were experimenting with a new style using a shoulder rig and it didn't go so well, haha. We went back to the old one this week and returned the rig.
Hi! So I made these and I had a problem with the dough because it doesn't get hard enough, and I left it in the fridge for about ten hours, do you know what coul be wrong? I followed the recipe and the steps and usually I don't have mucho trouble with baking...maybe I should put it on the freezer? Please replay :)
I actually made them with this recipe! I substituted the cocoa powder with a zest of 1 whole lemon and substituted 1 tablespoon of the oil with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice :) so yummy! my whole family loved it!
A must TRY for the holidays! However, since you like to make them for family.. I'm your distant cousin on your grandma's side twice removed. That counts right🤔😉
these cookies did not work for me😔 they spread alot and the powdered sugar melted not to mention the dough itself was sticky after being refrigerated overnight.
Thanks for bringing this up. The issue isn't a mic (we've got a great one and new equipment), but we've realized that we have the channels set wrong so it's recording double. It will be fixed next episode. Thanks again!
Christmas cookies is my favorite thing to make during Christmas! They look amazing!
Me too!!!
When you say lemon crinkled cookies, it makes me want to make it
Those crinkle cookies look yummy.

YAY!!!!! So happy to hear!

It's hard to answer major substitution questions like this when it comes to baking, because baking is so finnicky. I wouldn't know without trying.
Yum! I love making Christmas cookies these look so good! 😋😋
It's so festive, isn't it?! :)
Fifteen Spatulas yep! Looks like Christmas 🎄!!
Adding to my list, thank you love!
Enjoy and happy holidays!
looks yummy! can I use regular salt instead of sea salt?
Yes :)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Great video, do you also have a lemon crinkle cookies recipe by you?
Great video, very clear, this will be a great addition to my cookie collection!
Happy baking!!!
This is so yummy thanks a lot
I can imagine some peanuts or roasted hazelnuts added to the dough :)
I love to bake and i have to try these. Funny thing though, I've never heard of a crinkle cookie. Go figure!
They are sometimes called snowcaps but I think "crinkle" is more fun :)
amazing
I 💖 this recipe
it's the best ..!!
That's so great!

sorry for my bad English. I am from spain.
I would honestly search for a different recipe altogether, because swapping out ingredients here like that will likely not turn out well.
Cool, where from? I lived in Spain for 4 months (Granada).

great video! :)
I'm gonna try this out
Enjoy!
These looks yummy! 😋❤️
Thanks!
A tripod can go a long way. I love this recipe! Thanks

How do you get them so white after baking? For me, most of my icing sugar is gone whilst baking?
I love your shirt! Where did you get it from?
Thank you! It's old, but it's from INC (international concepts) at Macy's.

I'm sorry for the awful spelling, I'm from Argentina
You shouldn't need to put them in the freezer. What kind of oil did you use?
I used sunflower oil, that was the only one I had
In my family we call them chocolate pixies 🧚♀️. And we use melted chocolate instead of cocoa powder
will it be the same if I use coconut oil?
Coconut oil has a lot of flavor, so it will take coconut-y
I made Spritzer cookies using egg yolks and found another recipe that uses only egg whites. Its so strange. Which do you prefer?
Hm, that's interesting. Egg yolks would be richer, so maybe that? I haven't tried it separating it out like that though.
how I wish to be your neighbor! Would be eating tons of yummy food :)
HAHA I love that :)
could you use coconut oil?
Yes! Enjoy :)
Look incredible! How many dozen does the standard recipe make!
It's 12-14 cookies, depending on the size scoop. So about a dozen, but you can double it!
I don't know what happened but my cookie dough is just not firming up.... I even put it in the freezer overnight
Did you use grapeseed oil? If you try to provide a little more info I can try to help out
Joanne do make lemon crinkle cookies as well, sometime soon. 🍋

What type of oil did you use? I can try to troubleshoot if you can give more detail
Fifteen Spatulas...I follow your recipe exactly the only difference was the oil I used canola oil.
I thought one cup is 8 ounces instead of 5
That's liquid measurement. Liquid and dry are different :)
Fifteen Spatulas oh OK. just learned something new. Thank you and I will definitely try these out!😊😊
I like the new set up, but it sounds like she is in a tunnel. Joanne needs a mic!
