Owned FD2r 2 times litterally the best civic sell both to customer but now there is still 2 at our family car dealership clean looking low miles for 30-40K
Yeah it's old but the car aged well. Alot of cars around those eras that I find didn't age well, but it's different for this generation of Civics. They just have enough styling while having still clean lines without being boring, and proportion is great for a sedan.
For anyone wondering, using the equation hp=(tq)(rpm)/5252 the peak power of 520hp was achieved at ~7000 rpms. Also, for what its worth, there will be some thrust generated by the exhaust placement. On the old world war 2 fighters they figured out they could go another 10 mph due to angling the exhausts properly, especially on the spitfires.
This is by far my favorite donut video. The absolute amazing ingenuity of this entire car is just beautiful and an absolute work of art. Everything done to it with what little they have blows my mind
Recently picked up a 03 RSX Type-S to eventually be my track car. Going to try autocross, but time attack is my end goal. I love all kinds of cars but I've always been a believer of FWD cars being competitive and fast ever since my dad influenced me as a child. 👍🏻
Very same here my guy!! I myself wanna get a Civic EK9 Type R someday and convert it into a full Spoon Sports Spec build and use it as a daily car on weekdays and track car on weekends. I won't turn it into a fully gutted race car coz I don't wanna take away the identity of the car which is being reliable. It's like doing OEM+ based on your specific taste.
You can tell this guy is super serious about this car, he hasn't put a lot of jokes in this one. This is a highly technical piece for him, a very nice video for anyone serious about the subject.

Actually Spoon Brake kits are made by Nissin. I'm not sure which model you held in your hands.. You mentioned 6 piston. It doesn't look like the normal 4 pot spoon ones.
I was confused by that too... I know my 4 pot Spoon is made from Nissin just like stock NSX and S2K calipers are. The ones James held were def bigger than the normal ones they sell
