If I could say something as a Yankee fan - you guys were *really* the *true* underdogs, and, in Professional Wrestling terms, the *ultimate* babyfaces. The '21 Braves went through so much, for lack of a better term, attrition, but.... you came from VERY far behind, and you ab-so-lute-ly fought back the whole time. And you kept fighting. And fighting. And fighting. Suddenly, you're avenging, well, everything and, suddenly, you find yourselves facing the final boss... the Houston Asterisks............ where you *immediately* made history with Soler's leadoff homer, and then *immediately* cemented yourselves as the *ultimate* good guys by stealing EVERYONE (and, stealing everyone, of all things) a free taco. This team is the reason why *no one* should give up; this team is the reason why you should *always* keep fighting, regardless of the odds against them. THANK YOU, BRAVES! You're a true inspiration to us all.

Canadian Braves fan here, I've travelled to Pittsburgh to see Chipper Jones' last regular season game, I've travelled to Atlanta to see their home ball park. I use to watch the ball games with my grandma over the past 13 years, we've seen the braves come up short so many times. We wanted to see them win it once though, she died though about 2 months ago, just before the post season started. They finally won the World Series on the year she died. Im sad she got to miss it but I dedicate that World Series as a fan to her and so happy I finally got to see my team win it all, especially my fellow Canadian, Freddie Freeman. Chop on!

@@jermainesims8836 Agreed. It's so hard to rank all of the huge moments, and every single player in the lineup coming up huge at some point or another but it does seem fair to say that Eddie Rosario's 3-run HR off of Buehler and Tyler Matzek's 7th inning appearance were the stamps on the idea that the 2021 Braves were a different animal and just playing so far above anyone else at the time.
Never even faced an elimination game during an NLDS, NLCS, and World Series that what was apparently ranked statistically as the 2nd most difficult playoff path to a World Series win in the modern stat era.

So many amazing stories from this Braves team. The acquisitions, Freddie enduring all the losing seasons. Snit waiting 40 years in the Braves org for his shot, Matzek’s story is well known. And to a lesser degree AJ Minter. Will Smith having some struggles and Braves fans wanting him out and then doesn’t give up a single run in the postseason, and was absolutely brilliant in the World Series. This Braves season is a testament as to how to overcome adversity and never give up.

Lifelong fan here I'm 49 now and was only 19 when they went from worst to first in 1991. Arguable the best Worst Series of all time even though they came up short losing Game 7 in the 10th 1-0. Almost every game was decided by 1 run and it had 4 maybe 5 extra inning games. Finally in '95 when I was 23 we brought the World Series home! I thought many more would come but as many of you know our last appearance was in '99 and it was so heartbreaking to only win one WS after winning the division 14 straight years...a record I don't see any team breaking. This season was so magical it reminded me most of '91 when we came out of nowhere. I hope for more to come but it's so hard. 26 years seems so long ago but also fells like yesterday. Enjoy the moment!

Amazing video! Brought tears to my eyes. Well done!
As a life-long Braves fan that grew up in Marietta and who still lives in Georgia, I have fond memories of watching them when I was a kid with my grandfather and mom who were both HUGE fans. My grandfather passed away in 1992 while watching the Braves in his hospital room and my mom passed away from cancer in 2004 but I swear, as I was watching Game 6, I could almost hear and feel them on both sides of me sharing in the excitement as we watched that final out when the Braves won it all!
I knew they were up in Heaven with Hank Aaron doing the Tomahawk Chop, rooting for the Braves and with that last out, it was the perfect storybook ending. It was like God Himself planned the 2021 Braves season and victory as the perfect underdog movie to prove to all humanity that anything is possible when you have faith. With faith, we can overcome any obstacles thrown at us. When we love and support one another regardless of race, circumstances, or political beliefs - anything is possible!
Here is another thing I thought I'd mention that proves this couldn't have been scripted any better as a movie. Hank Aaron died on January 22nd of this year. The Braves had 44 wins at the All-Star break. They won 44 more games to get to the playoffs. They won the World Series on November 2nd, the 44th week of the year. Hank Aaron's number was 44.
That is destiny. This season was epic! I believe this season was God letting us know that even in these challenging times in which we live, when it seems that all hope is lost, that God is alive and well and that miracles are still possible when we have faith and persevere regardless of how bad things may appear.
I believe that God used the 2021 Braves season as a metaphor to show us that He loves this great nation and that it is still the land of the free and home of the brave(s).
This season united us all. Thank you Atlanta Braves for being the vessel that God used to show that through faith all things are possible!

A powerful tribute 👏🏽!!! To see what this Braves team of 2021 has done is truly remarkable in it of itself. I have been a fan of the team for all of my life and now I am grateful to see them win a championship for not only the city of Atlanta, but for the state of Georgia!!! Go Braves ⚾️🧢!!!!

Honestly the Braves were so underrated in the Brewer's series against a cold line up and one of if not the best record since the deadline. LA and Houston were even matches going in.

    5:35 literal chills
    11:31 literal tears.
This mini movie means almost as much as my Braves winning the WS this year. I can't thank you enough for this. And I can't give you all the likes it deserves. This is so far the best way I've seen to relive the whole adventure. Oh, and here's a sub.

Long time Atlanta Braves fan of 30 years. No matter what the future holds for the next incarnation of the team, the 2021 team was the most fun to watch that I had ever seen. With the 1995 team, Bobby Cox, like Earl Weaver would hold out for th 3-run homer that never came. The 2021 had the full package AND they were fun to watch. I doubt that will ever be repeated.
There are three feature films waiting to be made about this 2021 Braves team. They are:
    1. Incredible run after the deadline 3-games below .500 with a brand new outfield and a staff of bullpen pitchers that were the best in MLB the last six weeks of the regular season.
    2. The story of Braves manager Brian Snitker.
    3. The Tyler Matzek story.
Name a team in any era of MLB that can top what this 2021 Braves team did this year with so much adversity to overcome.

Braves went on “Lockdown, Lock In Mode” after Acuña’s injury and man did it pay dividends. We may be 2nd in the division right now, but I’ll admit, if the Braves and Mets get into the postseason, watch out for the NL East Beasts to come out and ball in the division series. Go Braves!!

I have been a braves fan since 1991, so I've seen my fair share of great moments and disappointments. The championship season of 1995 was great, but we were expected to win that year. We were a 106 win team that year and thus the heavy favorites.
    This year was different.
I cannot underscore just how magical this run has been! It seems like everything was against us: the Acuna and Soroka injuries, losing D'Arnaud for 3 months, losing Ozuna, the bullpen issues, the All-Star game moved to Colorado. For the vast majority of the season, we had a losing record. Ask any Braves fan back in July (myself included) if we were going to make the playoff and the answer would undoubtedly be: NO! (At the end of July, we had a 0.3% chance of winning the World Series!)
Then, we started winning, but everyone said that Atlanta was in a weak division, that we didn't really deserve to be in the playoff. All the "experts" wrote us off: they're just an 88-win team, they have the lowest wins total of all the playoff teams, "The Dodgers came back to beat the Braves 4-3 last year." LA and Houston media outlets mocked our team, predicting a quick series finish where the Braves lose soundly. We were underdogs with Milwaukee: we won. We were underdogs with LA: we won. We were underdogs with Houston: we won.
What's more incredible is that all the teams we beat could have easily have won the World Series themselves. We beat the two best pitching staff in the game, and the best offense!
This season will forever live in Braves country as one of the most, if not the most, incredible season in Braves history. Chop on, Atlanta!
