Totally felt what you said about the guys. Especially Haechan, Jaemin, Jeno and Jisung who literally joined SM when they weren’t even teenagers. Seeing them grow up in front of my own eyes from their Mickey Mouse days really makes you realize how much they have had to sacrifice by dropping out of school, not being able to make friends and putting thousands of hours into training in order to achieve their goals. That’s what makes this succesful comeback so satisfying and the message ”From Home” so heartfelt since it kind of highlights NCT’s global concept and how it doesn’t matter where they’re from because when they’re with each other it feels like home.

Just wanna say NCT is one of the artists that creates the best ballads. From Home is really close to me as a fan, bcs even if I have struggles or I thought I'm handling the hardships alone.. There's always NCT and my fellow NCTzens that makes me smile and forget my problems, and it gives hope what to do next. Some members of NCT are foreigners and I know it's really hard for them to continue with their competitive and stressful job without their parents.. The thought of them finding the comfort of home with the company of the rest of NCT members and finding home in SK.. are what really make me cry. I'm just thankful that I am in this fandom...really 😭

Bruh I'm crying and I relate to you sooo much. I've been able to make a lot of meaningful friendships because of NCT and the members themselves and the group have been a huge part in my mental health journey. Ive never seen a group or a artist that gives me such immens comfort like. It's nit just about the music anymore I have so much respect for these people and they are my role models and sometimes they're the ones that get me thru the day.

seeing them growing up from rookies to debut to now, it is really emotional. they were being called a failure when they debuted, and now, look at them. i love nct because they bringing me into these amazing journeys.
people don't understand progress and time build. they expect them to be one hit wonder. fortunatly SM stick to their roots and concept. now we have great group that will be in music industry for a long time. they are mature artist with absolutely beautiful craft. that's vision.

From Home had me in tears. They also sang in their mother tongues and sang a few lines in a language a lot of us understands. And what you said about journeys, I felt that, too. They sacrificed so much. Johnny saw his co-trainees debut in Exo, some even debuting without spending so much time. The kids Jisung, Haechan, Jeno, Jaemin, and Mark were all kids when they trained and worked in front of the television. They gave up a normal childhood. The foreign kids left their homes and flew to an unfamiliar place giving up their education, the comforts of home, and dealing with language and cultural barriers. Some gave up a bright and more stable future for a dream with no assurance of being fruitful. They had to face countless criticisms and still face criticisms, even threats. I'm proud of how far they have come.

I have to agree with you. I’m originally from China and possibly have siblings over there. (most likely a twin or younger brother). It really hit home for me because I’ve felt alone as I was abandoned shortly after birth on the steps of a temple.
Them singing in their own language made the song 10000× more emotional for me 🥺💚 + other members pitching in the mv to say thank you in different languages as well

We see they grow up from young boys into fine young men, especially dreamies, I felt like a proud sister

Haechan, Doyoung and Taeil sing in Korean. Kun, Renjun and Chenle sing in Chinese. Yuta sings in Japanese. From home to their new home, the CT, NCT. Now they’re not alone, even if they’re away from their original countries, away from their families or childhood friends.
SM hands down has the most beautiful vocal lines ever ❤️ this song is just a work of art.. till now i always tear up everytime I listen or watch the MV.. its that good ❤️
And also they sang 4 different language which is Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese. That makes it even more touching ❤️
In case you didn't notice, the members were singing in their native languange for this mv ( and it's beautiful ) .There's two version of the song , this version and a fully korean one.

I SWEAR I ALWAYS GET EMOTIONAL WHEN I HEAR THIS SONG. Mainly because of the lyrics and the fact that the members are singing the lyrics in their native language. The vocals are amazing. Definitely a 1000/10
The best thing about this song, not only because it shows the journey of nct and how they still would want to look back in the past(where they came from), It also used 4 languages in the song itself(it shows how they really appreciate being here now and still haven't forgotten about their inner self) and 7 in saying thank you(it shows how grateful they are for the people who believed and supported them and are still believing and supporting them) overall, it's lyrics are very poetic, it's touching but that's not only, it also portrays and tells us a story

The hardship one had to deal with would feel less tormenting when you got that one figure in your life that you can always lean on and confide in.
After having been away from home since they were all much younger, their comradery and bond seem to have gradually become their source of strength to carry on, and eventually turned into their home now.
Songs dedicated to fans are beautiful, but the ones that were aimed to remember the group's long journey always got me emotional in an instant.
#FromHome felt like it was meant to celebrate the boys' brotherhood and everything they have gone thru together to get to where they are now, and i couldn't make a better wish than hoping that #NCT members will forever be brothers and bestfriends.

I'm not sure if you've read the lyrics while watching this MV, but I'm sure it will lead you cry further. I felt the same when I watched this for the first time, well I still get sentimental every time I watch this though. I appreciate that they included saying "thank you" in different languages, plus their baby photos. It's personal to them, so I'm much more grateful that they're showing this side of themselves. Plus, Yuta saying in their VLive that he used to feel alone, but his members helped him overcome the sadness. Their friendship is so precious.
Out of all the NCT line, I'm so soft with the vocal line. I love them all but these guys really can struck your heart. That's why in their every album I'm always looking forward to their ballad songs
I was sobbing the entire video, knowing nct from sm rookies to debuting, the negative comments they received they were called failures. The fandom fighting, members not getting enough recognition. I am really happy that NCT 2020 happened because I can see all of them together again.

This song is one of the best ballad songs I heard not because I'm a czennie but because if its meaning and how they sung it. This song hits differently because I'm a fan of them since 2013 in SMRookies then MMC then now seeing them grow and improves really makes me proud of them. Their sacrifices really paid off dropping out of school, left their hometown to chase their dreams, thousand hours of training, dealing with such stress, dealing with sasaengs, be able to improve a lot and being as a one family really made this song so special and emotional.

i definitely feel you Jeff. ive been watching FROM HOME mv on replay but it still tears me up every time. i was a performer when i was younger, i couldnt continue on with my craft cause i got pregnant in my early 20s but i can relate to all the hardship since i perfromend since 8yrs old until im 18, its 2x harder to be flying to a different country to fulfill your dreams and getting to know the culture, learning their language before they can even debut in such a tough competition kpop industry. their journey is really admirable. kudos to all nct members and to their imports (non korean nmember) for living your dreams. its hard, not to see your loved ones everyday but i knoe the path you chose is what makes you fulfilled. being an artist is super duper tough. salute to everyone who keeps on performing despite difficulties.

Watch them growing up since SM rookies era Got me chills rn. I mean,they're growing inside out,physically and mentally. their vocals still never disappoint us at all. Me as their fans from rookies era,watch dreamies in mickey mouse club,and then their debut in 2016 till now. Im crying really hard when their baby photo coming up with that piano sounds and thankyou in different languages. Got me sobbing really hard for like 3 hours or maybe more. the lyrics itself have a really deep meaning which that was made all of us crying rn. Bcs many people must be feel lonely these days consider to this world condition rn to force us stay home for a long 7 months. Personally when "youre not alone" and "find a reason to be myself" coming out,My tears explode,my heart broke into pieces. Cus im still dont know who am i and im "blind" rn.
