Thank you! I just got five skeins of this and I’m super excited to use it... I got black white and grey together and red white and green together. I’m going to attempt a rug and table Runner for Christmas wish me luck!
I bet it would make gorgeous edging. It seems like that would be easier too as you only have to visualize your stiches made with the other type of yarn. love your videos, thanks Mikey!
Hi yes Mikey has a video for this... if you search "How To Crochet Pomp A Doodle Yarn From Red Heart the crochet crowd " on youtube it will come up in the list of videos....Cathy@The Crochet Crowd :)
Im having a little trouble, and I was hoping you could help me out! I bought some Pompadoodle-style yarn to make a cushie blanket, but all the tutorials I have found have used a type that has 2.5in between pompoms. Well, mine has only 1in. I am just wondering how in the world to stitch with this... I can get only one chain between balls, and a SC takes 2 pompoms. Have you ever encountered yarn like this, or is it just in Australia?
I made the scarf with 3/6/4/5 loops off of the foundation.....but TWICE now it has unraveled from the middle. If any loop gets tugged it starts to come undone. Any thoughts??
i found that it's DC instead of single. it gives more space vertically between rows and easier to find the chains. i did attempt an afghan stitch and that was pretty impossible!
I have tried and tried for months to crochet a scarf for my daughter out of this yarn. I always get confused and lost when trying to go back and SC. I can't ever find my chain stitches.
I used this as a cuff on a hat. It comes out really cute!

This yarn is fabulous. It works up quickly, is pretty, and feels so soft.
