I'm trying to make s small blanket for car seat and thought a 200g ball would be enough, it doesn't seem like it will be. If I undo what I've done and reknit it in stocking stitch will it be bigger than in garter stitch?? (I did use slightly smaller needles to get 3 stitches between pompoms as the wool I am using was knitting up too slack in 4mm needles with 2 stitches between)
@@jeremyfossett2999 thank you. I was living in hope the pompoms might have stacked on top of one another rather than behind and therefore doubled in height. Wishful thinking lol.
I keeping picking up an extra stitch or 2 every row. I’ve done 4 rows, I started with 50 stitches across, 2 between each Pom Pom and 4 rows later I’m up to 54. Any suggestions?
I use zarela pom pom wool but ordered the giant pom pom wool by mistake. Can I tell me how many sts do I need for blanket for giant wool. For small pompom I cast on 46 sts
I would say approx. 20sts or 20 pom poms, a lot less rows though, as the pom poms are round rather than oblong, just 1 stitch between pom poms not 2, best wishes Zarela
Do you need long knitting needles to do a baby blanket? Are knitting needles a standard size? My needles are 25cm in length will that be enough for the amount of cast one? Thank you
Ahh thank you I’ve been trying for days 😩 still can’t figure it out. I have tried with knitting needles but had to resort to circular needles. I’m on my 20th attempt lol
Jeremy Fossett in the video it’s says 50 rows = 50 rows but I’ve done 55 rows (if not more because I keep forgetting to cross them off one I’ve done a row) and only on 45 cm
If you just think of it as normal knitting, just 2 stitches in between each pom pom and then the next 2 stitches the other side of the pom pom and thats it! :) Search other pom pom yarn videos and that may help you, Best wishes J

do you have only 1 stitch at the start and at the end of each row if you have 2 stitches you should only have 1 stitch maybe that is where your extra stitches are coming from
My son brought me a dozen skeins of this pom pom yarn from a yard sale. I didn't have a clue what to do with it. Now I do. Thanks for the demo. !!
I needed a refresher on how to use pom pom yarn. This was perfect. Thanks 👍
Absolutely excellent
Can you please do a video on how to join a new ball of Pom Pom wool midway through the knitting because you are running out of wool?

Hi, it will knit to the same size because you knit either side of the pom pom the pom poms control the size of the blanket
