    saw where one contractor alternated the horizontal re bar on either side of the vertical so it formed its own channel to hold the vertical bar in place.. with several on one side and several bar on the other side of the vertical risers. Little stuff that speeds up production

    How was bracing

    Been considering using this to form the foundation for my 32x24 garage project but its on the expensive side and since it's a garage foundation, I don't need the R value. Wondering what some folks' thoughts are? Great videos as always!

    Hi, where did you purchase your fast foot hardware?

    ICF is a fantastic product. I have a three storey house, all ICF and the utility bills are negligible

    I like that beginning.
    😅I'm sticking around to heat the rest.

    What are the steel brackets with the black wheels on the Styrofoam blocks?

      Great question. I forgot to even mention the bracing. I may have some video on the bracing... they are zonts and zuckles. FabForm industries apparently hired Dr. Seuss to name their products.

      I see said the blind man.....I looked them up. I know what you are talking about now. Seems like the Styrofoam block system name brand you used, is a good one.

    You didn't pour a footing before installing the ICF wall? I wonder how that would turn out?

      Seems the footer and walls are all one piece.

      Yer, I was wondering that also. At 2:05 in the video he mentions that he "used the feet" and "hoped the concrete would ooze out from beneath the block, and create somewhat of a foundation....". Personally, I would have made a proper foundation....but that's just me...! :-/

    Should've used fast foot for the footings. A lot of waste there.

    No footer? Your nuts. Hope you didn't actually build anything on that.

      @@larsonhomeinspection9932 I don't think he did, or has the attention span of a gnat.

      He thinks he can do a monolithic pour like that. Lol yeah I don’t think so

    • @larsonhomeinspection9932
      @larsonhomeinspection9932 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      He left it open at the bottom so it mushrooms out to create a footer. He's pouring on bedrock, there's no better footing in the world.
