Headed to Guelph Ontario see the Ontario Southland units and chase CN & GEXR. Turned out to be a great day as did all three. If you are a fan of switching this video is for you. Thanks for looking.
In the opening minutes (up to about 13m) of the video, you where standing in a little park just a couple of blocks from my friends place in Guelph. I've driven by there many times. Great camera work and thanks for sharing.
Question for ya.....on those CN 7000 series Geeps they rebuilt, even though the short hood was chopped, the control stands are still oriented to long hood front operation, correct?? I do enjoy your videos!!! I thank you SO MUCH for posting them so people my age can "armchair railfan" our neighbors to the north!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
Great filming. I see they have not moved the Ontario southland units to Salford yet? I have always enjoyed your films as when I was much younger lol I lived in Dorland Subdivision and always remember the Canadian Pacific railway transfer that came from the St Thomas NYC yard to Woodstock it was usually a night transfer around 2 or 3 in the morning.
They are being moved by CN maybe on Thursday. I will wait till they get to London then chase down the Talbot Spur to St Thomas. They may run under their own power with a CN pilot to London and then St Thomas. St Thomas to Salford with just OSR crews. Got to get to London first. :-)
@@DiamondMaster20 Thank you wasn't sure when they were leaving these days. Too bad it will be dark by then but at least I can follow them from St Thomas to Salford. It takes them over an hour to do the 14 miles from London to St Thomas. Might be able to get some video as they leave London If OSR crew runs the units and have a CN pilot, they could go right from St Thomas straight through. I guess we will find out soon if they ever get to London. :-)

Can you do a railfanning trip to Kitchener to film the CN and CP and ION one day?
I've done both just search my rail pass Channel.
Are you coming back to Guelph in the foreseeable future to film the Guelph junction railways Goderich subdivision?
Not back to Guelph but I am sure a chase from Stratford to Goderich is in the works. :-)

GESR runs there but not OSR. Yes many times, search my channel.

Always had their shop at Salford. Just the power from Guelph is coming home as GEXR took over the operation.
