AWESOME VIDEO MCL, switching is the BEST thing abt short line railroads! I could watch them all day. I live by a short line railroad and our backyard is butted up to the ballasting at the track and get to see 2 MP15AC's twice a day. They're my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE locomotives and on occasion I'll chase them to get pics and videos. I'm new to your channel and I'm viewing it from Delmar, Delaware.

Every day is a good day when there's switching involved. I'm sure these railroaders are paid well, must be nice. Video with narration was quite good and enjoyable.

Are the trucks on that SW1500 from another locomotive?

Most SW1500's have the EMD Flexicoil trucks installed. This switcher had the lighter duty lower speed trucks installed that are a carry over from the SW1200. The SW1200RS was originally built with the Flexicoil trucks as well.

Thanks, I guess that’s what threw me off. I’m used to seeing the flexicoil trucks on them. I see that the SW1000 had these slower speed trucks.
