But whats the difference between clincal presentation of prinzmetal vs unstable angina.. and how to confirm the diagnosis?

Is it possible to have prinzmetal angina but have ST depression on an EKG? Doctors are pretty sure it’s spasms causing my chest pain but I’ve only ever had depression on my EKGs. I’m on a beta blocker because I have POTS but I’m trying to switch because it definitely worsens the chest pain

Prinzmetal is more likely to be ST elevation. Any rule has exceptions.
That’s why we can’t rely on EKG only. We need history, physical exam, other labs, and most importantly, clinical experience.
