Jonny is my favorite, but Jimmy’s “I can’t believe I made so many decisions!!!!” absolutely takes me out. Thanks to the editors for making this video watchable for us in the wake of all that’s happened 💙💚💜
The editing of this video is a work of art. From the blurring of certain people to the use of split screen to use footage that only half of it can be used. Seriously, if it wasn’t for the scandal you would never know there were people cleverly edited out. It’s only in hindsight that we notice anything so kudos to the editor who surely worked his buns off for being able to pull this off.
Prior to the scandal, I just assumed Ned was on a family or business trip. They all do that from time to time and the fans don't mind. Very good editing. Truly. The audio though can't be helped, you can hear Ned.
The editor did a great job for sure, but it only enhances the fact how fake everything is…. They basically retcon their own dialogue because an entire person is removed
Reminds me of those "Build ikea furniture" wedding games where one has the instructions and has to guide the other. There are whole video games built on this concept as well. Always absolute chaos and high risk for learning you don't communicate as well with your partner as you thought, haha
@@TheHoyaGuy I know!! Many times in Without A Recipe, the chef will say “you need to do x, and then it needs to cook for 30 minutes” and then the try guys have 30 mins to do that thing AND cook it!!!

The chef’s faces when realizing Monique’s credentials😂😂😂 I don’t know what the French Laundry is or a what being a Michelin chef means but it’s clearly impressive😍😍😍
I know this is an old comment but a Michelin Star is awarded to a restaurant not a chef. So it's a misconception when people say michelin-starred chef. When the chef leaves, the award stays with the restaurant and they don't bring it to their next employment
The moment when the chefs get to see what they put their name on is genuinely the best part of every video. You can see their lives flash before their eyes
I know! Like The cake that Jimmy picked, he said he picked it because it doesn’t matter what it looks like on the inside, because you’re going to cover it up with sprinkles. And I was like “yea, you’ve judged Keith enough that you know this is the way to go”
For those saying that the Try Guys are acting worse for content...maybe a bit, but damn does Johnny and Zach's conversation remind me of any time I've ever tried to explain how to wrap a present to my boyfriend.
I dont think they're acting that much worse because this is how it would go down if me (pastry chef) and my boyfriend (zack level cooking) had to do this
I think it's also encouraging to see people fail to create the thing they were aiming for but still make something delicious they enjoy. For home chefs who only get to try something more complex every once in a while, it's a nice reminder.
josh and nicole had a much more competitive energy (which i totally understand, i, too, would lose it), but this one is lowkey more relatable with jonny's anxious energy and jimmy's chill delivery, yet incredibly complex recipe!! vibes all around, i love this series

Honestly it does suck what happened, but it brought them back to my recommended and I haven't laughed so hard with a video in so long. Their content is solid, and everyone will move on.
Seriously!!! TH-cam keeps sending it to me like 'you wanna watch this for the 40th time?'
'Are you kidding me?!?! Of course I do!!!'
It's by far one of my favorite videos they've made recently, and honestly I didn't realize Ned was edited out until you mentioned it. I think they rocked the editing.
Johnny’s “you’re funny but I might not laugh right now cause I’m stressed” is a MOOD 🥲
Honestly him saying “fortress” was so underrated. That was a solid joke
Came here for this comment😅
"You must have misheard me" 😂
Truuuue it was soooo good
Good save. Now I want a black fortress cake.
“Do you know what you’re making?”
“Yes, Rachel, I’m making a mess!” 🤣 And he seems so proud of it! 🤣🤣🤣
Zach actually made something edible, so proud of him. Johnny out here doing miracles
this 😆
When he predicted zack might put in salt instead of sugar, that was impressive
Zach:with or without shell
Johnny:obviously no f*ing shell
I’m so sad Eugene wasn’t here to witness Zach being called a size queen but am utterly delighted this brilliant and hilarious concept is continuing. Also I swear the quality of the competition videos is getting more and more impressive!!
When this series hits the end of the first season, they should do a reaction video from the other try guys and the chefs who were on the show watching the Keith and Zach scenes
@@TheDriedfrogpills yeah that would be great second try content.
The devil works hard but Try Guys' editor works harder.
Probably why they dialed down to 1 video a day to edit it all out
The fact Devlin edited this makes this sm funnier
@@RavenYoung I honestly can't blame them! Filtering through all that footage is hard enough. I'm impressed that they can manage one a day. I was honestly expecting one per week because you know, gotta edit out the idiot
ALL HAIL THE TRY GUY EDITORS!!! WE ARE NOT WORTHY!
Okay but is Alex herring still a producer for try guys?
Give the editor a raise. They actually did such a good job making it completely unnoticeable.
So did the guys there’s so much personality there it makes up for the one missing who let’s be honest was never really there
Props to the way they’re all handling this in general. As a long time fan it’s admirable.
they did! I didn't even notice he was missing the first time
Try Guys editor & Little Mix editors could murder you and make it look like you never even existed
Yeah, it's really good
14:18 “baby when did you ever eat egg shell-“
STOP I LOVE HIM
The fact that they make them act as if it was all them, is comedy gold! "MY masterpiece! as God intended. I can't believe I made so many decisions!"
Jimmy’s reaction to the cake reveal was HILARIOUS and the way he just started yelling out of shock PRICELESS LMAO 😭😭
super underrated comedy!!!
Reminded me of Michael Scott's reaction to Toby lol NOOOOOOO
Keith being DELIGHTED about Johnny losing his cool absolutely sent me. "MAYBE IT'S THE ROOM THAT DOES IT TO US"
Though, and I know it was for comic effect, calling the eclairs a pos is a little too much for me, particularly when I doubt most of us would be able to make one.
@@neoporticulis oh come on.. they do look like a 💩😂
@@le_lilalotje7834 tbh they look like a chocolate bomb (idk if this is a thing outside of Brazil so yeah lol). They do seem pretty tasty, but not how they should look like. 👀
They need to do a psychological screening. Maybe it's the color and lighting of the room.
i have never laughed so hard from keith and zach's cooking and comedic response to jimmy's good liners and johnny's witty clapbacks with garrick's nonchalant jokes bro this video is gold
For those asking! Ned is absent from this episode because he was filiming the spin-off, “Try guys try ruining a perfectly good marriage”
PLS I'M DYING 😂😂💀
Too soon 💀
This comment made my jaw drop. I’m cackling
Had me in the first half ngl
Ope-
Jimmy viscerally screaming "NO!!" just about made me pee myself laughing.
The pained scream when the lid came off the cloche with the black forest cherry cake was absolutely classic.
And Jimmy’s scream of NO was heard from miles all around.
**black FORTRESS cake 😅
@@curryascocarrasco4829 *nod of approval*
“Black fortress you must’ve misheard me” is so funny 🤣🤣🤣
“The goo in the fridge goes inside the dicks in the oven.” Love that he’s talking Zach language lmao.
You can list A Santa Claus naughty or nice list chock-full of out of context from these shows in specifically The Try guys
He love how he quickly adjusted to Zach speech and spoke in it 😂😂😂
Honestly, Jonny having Zach of all people make choux pastry and it turned out edible? Highly impressed.
I was thinking the same thing! I watch Bake Off, I know how challenging it can be lol
@@cooki3monstrrr I watch @sortedfood a lot and have seen the normals struggle with choux. It really gives you an appreciation for how difficult it can be
Bake Off is also great 😃
That was really impressive. It looks like Zach's chocolate "dipping" method may have just made them soggy but otherwise it could have been perfect!
@@greeneyedtrombonist agreed! & ooo I know what I'll be watching this weekend 😁 thanks for the Sorted Food recommendation!
Jonny is my favorite, but Jimmy’s “I can’t believe I made so many decisions!!!!” absolutely takes me out. Thanks to the editors for making this video watchable for us in the wake of all that’s happened 💙💚💜
Zach: “With or without the shell”
Johnny: “Babe, when have you ever eaten an eggshell”
I died
The editing of this video is a work of art. From the blurring of certain people to the use of split screen to use footage that only half of it can be used. Seriously, if it wasn’t for the scandal you would never know there were people cleverly edited out. It’s only in hindsight that we notice anything so kudos to the editor who surely worked his buns off for being able to pull this off.
This is true, didn't even noticed that Ned the previous host wasn't here the first time I watched when it first showed
Prior to the scandal, I just assumed Ned was on a family or business trip. They all do that from time to time and the fans don't mind.
Very good editing. Truly. The audio though can't be helped, you can hear Ned.
Its probs YB, she has skills man 😫😫 it’s unmatched how well this editing is done. Like you said, I didn’t notice it the first time I watched it.
@@andreapieterse8986 but what if editing this video was Alex’s job 😂
The editor did a great job for sure, but it only enhances the fact how fake everything is…. They basically retcon their own dialogue because an entire person is removed
God damn, the editor's work during the judging portion of this video deserves an award...
Yeah rewatching this now, such a good job
was it yb?

But I was SO PROUD OF ZACH for putting the bowl in the fridge! He wasn't far off from what he needed. This gives me less anxiety than Without a Recipe
Here’s the thing, this idea needs to expand it everywhere, not just on the Internet. This type of concept, can work for almost everything.
It's one of the most hilarious concepts I've seen executed. Totally agree. 😂
Reminds me of those "Build ikea furniture" wedding games where one has the instructions and has to guide the other. There are whole video games built on this concept as well. Always absolute chaos and high risk for learning you don't communicate as well with your partner as you thought, haha
Keith was great. Not his fault the timing messed up his cake, and I loved his creative rescue with the fortress!
Whoever decides the times for all the cooking videos really screws them over a lot 😂
@@TheHoyaGuy I agree! They need to learn to start planning better! It's actually annoying. Don't let the guys make stuff that needs more time
and Jimmy's reaction to it when he first saw it..omg i died
@@TheHoyaGuy I know!! Many times in Without A Recipe, the chef will say “you need to do x, and then it needs to cook for 30 minutes” and then the try guys have 30 mins to do that thing AND cook it!!!
WAY too many people are talking about Ned and not how FUNNY this shit was. I was DYINNNG 😂😂😂 Probably the best episode to date. Love you Guys 🤍🤍🤍
Agreed! This video had me cackling! Actually crying with laughter - so good!!
We talked about that months ago
Literally laughed so hard my dog thought something was wrong with me!!!!!
When the black forest cake was revealed, I almost fell off my chair from laughing so hard
Honestly. I watched this at like 1:30am and I was laughing so hard I had to stuff my face in my pillow so I wouldn't wakeup my housemate in the next room. The reveal had me in absolute tears.
Jonny calling Zach baby while slowly stressing tf out is my level of energy
Jimmy's reaction to the cake was so hilarious and was my reaction when the cake started falling apart lmao the whole video was so funny. Zach and Jonny's dynamic was cute. The egg shell part made me laugh.
This is hilarious.
“What’s a sauce pan?”,
“Did you wash your hands?”
*pause*
“Did I wash my hands… today? … yes?”
whoever paired Jonny and Zach together deserves a gold medal in comedy and entertainment
jonny and zach are the chaotic duo i didn’t know i absolutely needed until this video
“Baby, when did u ever eat egg shell” is my new favorite line
I love the chefs . We need another episode lol
Jimmy: "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Keith: "it's YOUR cake!"
Jimmy: "YESSS!!! MY MASTERPIECE!"
This part had me ROLLING
I made sooo many choices!!! Why did I do that?
I’d love to see Rosanna directing Keith on a bake 😂
EDIT: Following a comment suggestion from Melissa, the other team should be Matt directing Zach!! Full carnage and frustration
I would watch it
I would drop everything to watch it!
Ugh. They fight like really really close siblings and it's entertaining to watch
I would like to add: Matt directing Zach
@@Meleecon oh my god!!!! Matt would be so frustrated 😂
Zach after sticking his finger into just boiled milk- “if I were a baby, I would be screwed right now.”
Jonny- “the good news is- you’re a full grown man…so you’re fine.”
😂😂😂😂
but little does Jonny know, Zach is actually a full grown baby man
1 k likes 👍
Omg that had me ROARING 😂😂🤣🤣
I was screaming at the screen when everyone was disappointed about the appearance because I think the guys did a great job. Zach didn't even know what he was doing and Keith was able to keep the cake together.
I’m so glad they didn’t scrap this episode completely because I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a WHILE 😭
Me too! They are so funny🤣
Same !
Was this ever in danger of being cancelled? This episode is too good to scrap...now I want to watch everything they've scrapped. I bet they're all pretty good
@@lizxu322 honestly not sure, but i just assumed that as a possibility thanks to he who shall not be named and this video coming out before he was let go 😅
In this series, I love how the chefs present the food as if they made it themselves and there's little acknowledgement that the Try Guys were involved. Makes it even more hilarious.
actually xD absolutely cackling the entire video
Would be cool if we uno reverse card-ed this and had the tryguys control pros haha have them make their weird recipes and see how the pros will make it work haha
This!!!
This must be made
I love this OMG! It would be cool to bring pros from other kinds of skills too like people who can make plushies, or blankets or whatever else.
Yess
Awesome idea!
The chef’s faces when realizing Monique’s credentials😂😂😂 I don’t know what the French Laundry is or a what being a Michelin chef means but it’s clearly impressive😍😍😍
Michelin is an award chefs can win and its means they are basically top tier
Monique is basically at the top level
I know this is an old comment but a Michelin Star is awarded to a restaurant not a chef. So it's a misconception when people say michelin-starred chef. When the chef leaves, the award stays with the restaurant and they don't bring it to their next employment
The moment when the chefs get to see what they put their name on is genuinely the best part of every video. You can see their lives flash before their eyes
Jimmy’s uncontrollable cackling at Zach and Johnny’s shit lumps is honestly me 😂😂
Yesss, I keep replaying and laughing at that part
I felt so bad for Keith’s cake falling apart after he followed instructions so well and was given really good instructions also 😩😭
These two chefs belong in the Try Guys Extended Universe I love em both!!
"the mind of a chef, partnered with the hand of an idiot" I CANT STOP LAUGHING 😭😭😭😭
Honestly, the most stressful part is Zach cooking. He is literally the whole competition and the chef's guiding him are superheroes.
Johnny: watches without the recipe and knows how bad zach is at this
Also Johnny: we making eclairs
I know! Like The cake that Jimmy picked, he said he picked it because it doesn’t matter what it looks like on the inside, because you’re going to cover it up with sprinkles. And I was like “yea, you’ve judged Keith enough that you know this is the way to go”
Suprisingly, Zach nailed the pastry and the way of the filling...its just, the visual gone wrong ^^;
For those saying that the Try Guys are acting worse for content...maybe a bit, but damn does Johnny and Zach's conversation remind me of any time I've ever tried to explain how to wrap a present to my boyfriend.
I dont think they're acting that much worse because this is how it would go down if me (pastry chef) and my boyfriend (zack level cooking) had to do this
That’s me and my hubby as well. Coordination and instructions are hard for him to put in his brain.
I’m sorry but was I the only one DYING of laughter during the judging section 😂😂 I could not hold myself together. The black fortress cake got me
Same here!! I was laughing so much that I spit out my water 😂😂
every time i think, “there’s no way the try guys have found ANOTHER way to make bad cooking funny,” and they prove me wrong EVERY TIME
I think it's also encouraging to see people fail to create the thing they were aiming for but still make something delicious they enjoy.
I’ll always live without a recipe, but this is the next level. Getting the chefs to plug their dish before they’ve even seen it is the (proverbial AND literal!) icing on the cake. I genuinely cracked up.
