  • Welcome back to Pathways!
In this episode, I had the privilege to talk to Auzellea Kristin Mozihim, a Fulbright TEA '22 alumna, and we had a nice chat about how she has served as an English teacher in Sabah and also how she went on the Fulbright program on an educational exchange funded by MACEE along the way.
Our conversation began because I was interested in how she had been at the launch of the Bending Bamboo Shoots project created by the World Bank which discussed the rate of learning loss amongst Malaysian students and also brought forth the idea that perhaps education is something that needs to be addressed for students at an early age along the way. And I was tremendously interested to hear her thoughts on the report as well as her experiences as a school teacher in Sabah along the way, her thoughts on MA '63 as well as the state of English language learning in Sabah and Malaysia and large, and a range of other issues related to education.
Thank you so much Auzellea for this conversation! I hope that it was meaningful to you and look forward to sharing more with you and with the world alike sometime soon!
    With my very best,
    V.

We need more serious people like Auzellea walking the corridors of power.
