85 4RUNNER BUILD PART 8

Hello again! In this video I finish buttoning up everything that needed to get finished. I replace the timing chain and everything that goes along with that. I repair the rust on the driver side quarter panel. I then struggle for a couple months trying to get the 22re started!

Just want to say thanks for continuing these videos! They are 1000 times more fun to watch then any of the car restoration videos on tv. You do amazing work with all the editing, that’s got to be a lot of work. I have a 2002 4Runner and it’s great to dream about making it as awesome as this truck.

What front springs are you using for those hoops? Also do your remember the name of the hoops I know skys makes them and other places just curious trying to do that myself but kinda clueless on if a 12inch shock would work? Love the channel!

thanks! yes TG 4 in the front, but i took a leaf out already because it was wayyy too tall. and i have the chevy 63 spring in the back with an add-a-leaf to raise it up higher.
