Great place to get comfortable using f-keys. Personally I like Vengeance and SGS here for practicing fast switching to spellbook and spec weapon. GL all on the orange dopamine crystals.
or just use Open OSRS and install the custom keys plugin that lets you assign prayers to 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 on your keyboard. like every other "pro" pvp and pvmer is doing. They also have a plugin for demonics that shows which prayer to use, but these guys are not worth doing in 2021, the drops are not worth the time to kill them, the exp is quite bad too.

Just tried these out for the first time (aside from once or two during/post mm2) and was surprised how well I was able to do even as a mobile exclusive player! I was on Task and for the first few trips (~35 kills) I used a Arclight and Blowpipe Switch which went fine. Then I decided to try replacing the Arclight for Osmumten’s Fang as my Melee switch and to my surprise. I instantly found it to be more effective and even more so consistent than an Arclight. I actually found farming Demonic Gorillas to be quite enjoyable on mobile. I also found myself becoming better and better at prayer switching, which is something I struggled a lot with before killing these! Overall I ended up making between 750-800k within about 45 minutes from the standard drops.
Finished MM2 on my ironman recently and got a black demon task and I’ve never killed them before. So I watched this vid and then I got a zenyte on 2 kc... i think this guide gave me some luck
excellent point about how common a "rare" drop is. There are so many drops that are considered rare or unusual, that the chance of getting a drop that makes you say "wow thats rarer than a zenyte and I'm pissed" is the sum of all the probabilities and comes out to be fairly high.
Exactly, same as bandos where the sums add up to ~8/127 for the rdt which means you'd hit the rdt every ~15 kills on average. Seeing the rdt 1/1k drops etc makes you feel unlucky but really its common.

Was pretty stressful at first but eventually I relaxed and just had fun. Haven't done a demonic gorilla task yet but based on the video it seems considerably more chill than LMS switches.
Right now, I'm playing on an account with 60 Atk, 83 Str, 76 Range, and 52 Prayer, and I just finished Monkey Madness 2. I'm probably getting way less kills than I could be at a higher level, but these guys are super fun to fight.
Except for range, these are approximately my stats, too. But I'm assuming you have good gear? Which I definitely don't on my ironman haha. So I'm likely far from ever trying this.
@@Zwodo I believe I was using the below equipment: Slayer Helm(i) Fury Holy Blessing Blessed D Hide Body Dragon platelegs Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves D Scim + D Defender / Blowpipe Firecape / Ava's Accumulator Berserker / Archer Ring (i) Not particularly high tier for this activity, but I know some of these items are probably difficult to get for Ironman.
I think flinching is safer and easier you can still pray range/mage but avoid the melee completely if u get them stuck in the rocks before the 2nd area
A note: The blowpipe is better dps overall because of the last final hit on the demonic gorilla. So the meta is now is to bring a blowpipe, use that as a spec or you can bring the SGS for healing, you would tbow the gorilla until you have done you last final tbow hit, and then blowpipe the gorilla.
Your guide is great, but I still accidentally ran in to the multi zone on my UIM and died with everything. One stressfull hour later I had extracted everything thankfully. Now I'm definitely going to follow your guide more carefully.
75 base stats on slayer task , isn't too bad ofcourse higher stats = higher kills per trip and make you chew less on your supplies but with a 100k inventory i can kill 14 a trip and get back about 350k so , not bad at all and if a zynite drop it will boost your bank , i only take weapon switch to make it easier on me but once you get a hang of it and as your combat stats improve you'll be happy you started off early , you are not really losing any money here
Ay my friend there is a flinching method you can do that requires no food or prayer each hit is about 2 ticks if you do get hit its a 4 tick reset but its safe and easy
(late reply) yes, the gorillas switch their prayers after certain tick. you can land multiple shots with blowpipe compared to slow attack speed of dcbow. i think msb(i) will work just as well minus the poison
Did 5500 of these on my main back when RL plugin was a thing and found it to be pretty chil., I could even watch videos on the side. Doing these now on my iron without the plugin and finding it very annoying. Literally requires more attention than Hydra.
@@ALittleMessi I've gotten around 30 zenytes from them over the span of 8000-9000kc, and I keep coming back from more. The only other PvM I do is vorkath, so it's exciting to get somewhat infrequent 10-15m drops as opposed to consistent 3m an hour from vork.

I feel like rng always evens out eventually. I got 3 shard within 200kc, but then went 900 or 1000 dry for my next one. Got the 5th one within 100kc of the last 😭
Srsly I get why people complain if they don't get something after a while. I really love the phoenix pet , I started doing firemaking for the pet and I'm on 24m firemaking xp and I still don't have the pet. 🤦♂️ but hey now I got a extra 99 I guess ?
It raises your melee max hit by one, whereas the zerker ring (i) raises it by two. That's more dps than the miniscule +4 range attack bonus from the brimstone ring.

I'm over 700 kc on unsired and only got 3 unsired, but I've also got 15 talismans and super rare drops so none of it makes sense

For ironman who need a Zenyte (Ring of Suffering) for Zulrah, Magic shortbow (i) works well with rune arrows and special attack.

Dragon cbow is a good alternative to blowpipe and it does pretty good. blowpipe costs scales which cuts the profit.

yea, i think the cape switch is not necessary. you can just bring assembler/attractor by default. makes it much easier.

Just got a new black demon task. So far im on 1084 kc without any zenyte drop. Lets hope the next 203 kills i have to make drop at least one :)
