Her 2nd talent still allows you to place them at range despite being her "old traps", and only has cooldown when you teleport so you can place all 3 traps far away from eachother and use them as long range teleports. Their cooldown is 8s instead of 10s so the card that reduces the CD will move it to only 5s.
it's kinda funny that a really long time ago i suggested that animation for the spirit traps (back when it was spirit lures) for the talent that used to give the deploy from afar. and i'm pretty sure that was in one of your videos

Just give her hitscan needles that detonate for extra damage when you activate her right click, which will play her old primary animation, stabbing the doll.
I remember when Kasumi launched, she was kind of a 'cheap' hero in that she could do a ton of damage, but she also felt fair enough to me because she was so frail and easy to gang up on and kill for more than one hero. A lot of champions have good escapes, Kasumi never did. Then they absolutely butchered her firing, making all of those changes so that you never hit things right - it's just absurd. Why would I play Kasumi who's super frail and slow and does less damage than a single shot from Lian or Betty?
Well that's the only way auto aim can exist as a primary, if you wanna have an easier to land primary then everyone else, its gonna trade viability for ease of use, you dont want a character like kasumi anywhere near the meta, it's the same as moji, terribly designed but is super easy to use so moji needs to be left inna terrible state so the game can be playable.
Random question: When did they start making loadout cards that increased damage output, I remember Saati's "decrease the burst delay of your turret things" card and lightly freaking out because it was a card that increased damage output I thought damage increases was kinda off the table for loadout cards, in that case why not just bring back Lethality?

How does this address the pain points in her kit that have forced her to be inna bad spot? This actually might be the worst rework ive seen. I dont play much kasumi if at all tbh, but to me it seems they changed almost nothing inna meaningful way, rather they just made a few qol changes and made her primary feel bad, but this means if they buff her to be viable again then shes gonna be problematic still which means this rework does nothing.
If they just made her primary fire not auto aim and instead a projectile, they could actually make her dps fairly high and it would feel fair. I don’t know why they insist on having her primary fire be in it’s state. In it’s current state she can never be good because she’ll be toxic for the metagame so her only choice is to be bad.
Resources, it takes a LOT of resources to do something as simple as a reworked primary weapon. Is it possible? Yes. But is it worth it since Evil Mojo isn’t a big with a lot of budget that needs new functional content? Not really. While it’s upsetting it’s the sad truth

On top of what she can do now. Would give the opportunity to get behind shields and actually flank.
