I have applied to uot, mcgill, uwaterloo and honestly I would prefer studying at uwaterloo anytime as I would have 2 years of work experience just in my college only , which help me repay my tuition too

@@hari0794 focus on your cs extracurriculars and math marks. Also, give the Euclid Exam conducted by uwaterloo. It helps in admission.

@@aryankarthik5378 Hey Aryan, u of waterloo for undergrad is definately competitive, but it depends on program. But, it is totally worth it because of their huge co-op program. Make sure which ever program you are selecting for u of waterloo, it has co-op. For growth and learning, it is excellent university. Fees is on higer end. But, again with co-ops and scholorships, I think it would be managable.

Waterloo is a good school for computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, and math. Science and Law are not programs Waterloo should be chosen for. Check out the following programs: CS, CS/BBA, SE, CFM, AFM, Engineering (anything), Math/CPA, Math (and majors).
I'm pretty sure Waterloo outranks all other Canadian universities in number of graduates working at top tech companies. Waterloo is well known in Silicon Valley and has been recognized as the 4th largest feeder school to Facebook. If you want a job after graduation, Waterloo should be your top choice. For research, choose UofT. For nice views, choose UBC.
Highest salary for a software co-op at Waterloo is around $50,000 USD for the semester (living expenses subsidized as bonus to this) or $84 USD per hour. This salary is at the highest tier for co-ops, along with anything else north of $70 USD per hour.

Engineering 5 is not connected to Engineering 7 and both are separate buildings on the University of Waterloo campus and Engineering 7 is the newest Engineering building on there University campus, and E7 was open in 2017 or 2018 year.
These only problem with these universities is fees. Wish I was a Canadian citizen so I could study in Waterloo at much power price😣

My extracurricular includes some school level olympiad achievements(CS and Math). And a participation in a National Youth Parliament which had the signature of Finance Minister of MP.
Ya bro easily in one of the top 10 universities but the fees would be a bit on the higher side for top universities
It's much easier to get Canada Permanent Residency and settle there. It is almost impossible in USA and Australia now. No one wants to come back to home country after spending years above.

(1) 21H from Union Station to Square One && 25(C) from Square One to University of Waterloo ~ $30
(2) GO Train from Union Station to Kitchener GO && LRT to University of Waterloo ~ $30

For undergrad, Waterloo is definitely the best engineering school in Canada because of the co-op program. For masters, UofT is better!

Bhai it's abosolutely false that the location of Waterloo, kitchener, is not preferred by students. It is the start-up hub of Canada. Many companies like blackberry are based in Kitchener. For STEM students Waterloo degree is a gem.
Debatable on the location point. Waterloo is kind of in the middle of nowhere. You never really see this start-up hub stuff. But a Waterloo degree is a gem for STEM.
