Dude! I am listening to this tute on some nice sony headphones. I have been in broadcasting my entire 71 adult years. You, sir, have a voice I have ever yet to hear in all that time. Get your butt the nearest radio station and turn yourself in!
Extremely rare these days that i find something new about ae on youtube. Found ur channel bruh and almost every video teaches me something new. Good shit bro. Itd be dope to see ur take on color grading. Ur methods/techniques for it. Keep this shit up bro
Awesome tutorial, Cameron! I just found your channel recently and can't wait to explore more of your videos. I am obsessed with your style, specifically in the "3D Layers" and "Camera Techniques" videos.
Thanks so much!! But I've found an even better way to make flickering glow, and that is to use also the value in front of the wiggle. I've made a very soft flicker by doing: value + (wiggle(5,20))
Hi, I'm trying o use a wiggle expression but I DON'T want its amplitude to go below the original number, only variations beyond that number, can you help me please?
Ive been trying to do this effect, but my masks don't scale or when I tried to create a mask, the background goes completely back, then when I click on mode, I only have 4 options, add, none, divide, substract, lighten, difference, could someone tell me, what am I doing wrong? When I click on mask, it immediately moves to the foreground layer, in this case, my picture
i struggle to follow these kinds of videos, good work though, il have to go step by step if i have any chance of doing something like this for my montage
My issue here is this isn't very realistic at all to how an actual light flickers. I've always found that good looking flickers take a little bit more time than just a wiggle expression, specifically if you're going for realism as you are here. If you just need something quick and simple I think what you've outlined here is more than enough, but I would definitely put a little more love into this if the whole point was to be realistic to how an actual light flickers.
Thanks for this great tutorial! It helped me make some of the light flickers in this video (with a few changes to suit my needs) th-cam.com/video/4H72KXHTV3w/w-d-xo.html

Gotta love the wiggle expression. There are endless possibilities for it's use.

Very useful. Also for flickering fire shine on talents or objects.

Could I set key frames to the flashing to time it how I want it?
is there a way to repeat the cycle seamlessly?
