Georg Philipp Telemann's Sonata #1, performed in Robert Jinks' senior saxophone recital at Geneva College.
I. Vivace
II. Adagio
III. Allegro
A German musician and student of law in Germany, Telemann is one of the most prolific composers in history. His set of 6 Canonical Sonatas were originally written for recorder or violin. Each are written as a canon, such that the second player performs the exact same melody as the first just a few measures later.
