I like seeing what fabrics ppl are buying because I have the fun of shopping without any remorse! Joy is so much fun - maybe she'll share what she got at some point. I think of it like seeing someone else's garden, only it is fabric instead of flowers. I did buy a Last Chance rayon crinkle print at Joann last week that is robin's egg blue with tiny white speckles that will be cool in the summer. The Disney fabrics are all so cute, and you have "the blues" in a good way with that pretty selection. I would Google "Easy caftan pattern" and you might find directions to make a swimsuit coverup that way, and that will be a quick project...if you can get to it!

Purpose. What a great idea to have a rug at your cutting/work table. Would the love notions Sunday romper? I’m excited to hear your experience on the rug making! I’m jealous of your hobby lobby. Ours has almost no apparel fabric. In my April buying month, I only had my style maker haul for my birthday and my beyond the pink door subscription box. They all came the end of April so I’m exited to figure out what to make. I am still working on developing my tried and true patterns fit to me, so everything seems to take me longer. Getting closer to finishing my first Rhapsody by Love notions. Have a great week!

My mom made one years ago (she died 14 yrs ago, she is very much missed), but she made hers out of braided scraps that was then hand sewn into place and we had that rug for many, many years in front of our kitchen sink. Thank you for reminding me of such a wonderful memory!

Hi Tiffany. I always enjoy your videos. For your swim cover-up, it looks like you could just lengthen a tshirt pattern and add a casing at the waist. You can then add elastic or a tie. Really easy to make a fabric tie with a narrow strip of cotton/Lycra jersey. Give the strip a gentle tug and it magically curls into a cord. It has give as it’s made with a knit fabric. Good luck, whatever you decide😊

Made up. Joanns really had some cute Disney fabric and I love the ones you got at Purple Seamstress. I succumbed to temptation and bought quite a bit at the Minerva sale. I do love their fabrics and we’re planning to go to Italy next year and I wanted some dresses. Plus I love their Rayon for tops.

Thanks for sharing all your new fabrics and plans! I remember the boys watching The Little Mermaid over and over - on the VCR - when they were young. Mostly for the Gaston parts, I think haha. It's my favorite song in LM, too. We had Christmas ornament plushies of the Flounder and crab characters.
I've been happy with my past fabric orders from Mily Mae, cotton rib and french terry. I'm not on a fabric ban, I think I have a kind of rein that pulls up when I feel like there's been too much coming in haha. I'm working with a couple of Hobby Lobby fabrics currently, testing a couple of first-make patterns and they're coming out nicely. If I end up at HL on any more 40% off weeks, I may have to yank on that rein 😁. Happy sewing!

Hi Tiffany!! You make me wish I had gotten back into sewing when my kids were little!! Those fabrics and patterns are going to be so adorable!! For your Beach Coverup, I bet you have a pattern in your stash that checks all the boxes! I think Michelle Sews Again did a video about some for sew frugal...That jelly roll rug looks like a fun project. I love seeing what other people buy for fabric, even if I'm trying to use my stash, it's just fun! I also watch Joy, she is so sweet and funny! Great haul, Tiffany! I love seeing what fabric people buy. I also like fabric and pattern pairings but I'm not big on watching just pattern hauls. I was going to put in an order at Minerva this weekend because they were having a 20%off sale but I ended up missing it anyway 😢. I'm trying not to buy without a plan or just buy to put in my stash

Hello dear Tiffany! Love all of your knit fabrics. Addie June will be the cutest visitor of all at the Disney parks. Her cute themed fabrics are adorable. I’ve not sewn anything yet but boy, do I want to. I’m hanging in here. Seeing the surgeon tomorrow and hoping he’ll say I’m progressing ok. I had a really bad last few days tho. Not sure, chilling and aching so bad but today, Tuesday I’m better. Hope it was just a virus. Never know but boy, I really ached,nevertheless every fiber in me hurt soo badly. Take care and keep sewing. I’ve been bad tho,lol !,,I did order some patterns on Etsy and fabrics from Stylemaker fabrics and Core fabrics. Gorgeous but don’t quite have the needed energy to get working on them I got some double gauze to make my pt gal a baby blanket, the gauze ones that I know are popular today. I need some ruffle trim tho. I’ll get it finished once I get going as her baby isn’t due until later July. Boy, we’ve had some big t storms hitting right now. Said off n on all day. I have a few yards of the purple jacquard terry cloth from Hobby Lobby too and I’m so excited to sew it up. I saw some clothes in the kids section of old navy made of the same fabric, so it must be the new hot thing

I’ve pretty much lost my mind over this fabric buying habit/addiction I have. Recently bought some beautiful linen, seersucker and pique(have you heard of it?) I didn’t realize what I was getting but it was a beautiful pink. I hope I’ve finally gotten it out of my system though. We have too many fabric stores here in my area so I have lots of temptation.
I’m not supposed to be buying until my trip to Japan. Now I’m limiting myself to only buying a few quality pieces when I get there since I’ve already out did myself.
I have been really good at not buying, I purchased swim lining but it was a need.....How did your sewing weekend go, I wasn't feeling well so got nothing done. But cut out a few things last night. Have a great week!

@@hoosierhandmade22 I have had a bit of a haul myself. Roman silk, linen cotton mix and some ticking canvas as well to make a tote. That's it for the next 6 months. I really wish there were 48 hours in 1 day 😂❤️
