What great sewing plans! Absolutely love the quilt plans for Addie. My main goal this year is to do the quilting on a log cabin quilt which was my Mom's last project before she died. I believe we're neighbors--I live in Henderson KY. We got a lot of snow and ice--still trying to get out from under it.

I’m working on the winter door banner by Riley Blake. It took me 2 hours just to cut out the pieces! Then I need to put the binding on my daughter’s Radiant Star quilt which took me 25 years to sew. It just came back from the long armer. This year I want to sew my sons Storm at Sea quilt and my husbands John Wayne quilt. I’d also like to sew myself a couple of long sleeve shirts. I really like that Arlington.

Hi Tiffany! Wow! You have so many fun sewing shares! The Arlington Sweater pattern is beautiful! I might have to print that one off for myself. The dusty blue sweater knit would look stunning on you! I'm excited to see Josh's vest and his quilt!! I must say, I get a little envious of your sewing retreats, so I'm looking for one in my area to attend! Addie's quilt is going to be so much fun to make. I love the fabric and the little Woodland Animals with sayings. That pattern is going to be loved!! You really are getting a lot of snow this year. I can't wait to see the qult for your little girl when you get done. We got snow here today, I was excited to have snow. Its been about 12 years since we had any measurable snow. I live in northeast Georgia.This week I made a top from chalk and notch patterns, the waterfall top. I loved how it came out. Happy birthday 🎉

I love the Arlington versions I've made. A regular hem makes it look more like a sweater or knit top and less like a sweatshirt. I hope you have a great birthday. 🎉

Love your future sewing plans! I’ve been doing mending, and now altering a dress for one of my daughters. Altering and mending are not my favorite but I love making my family happy 😊 We are having more snow here in Ohio tonight and tomorrow , so I’ll have more time to read as well 😉 I love curling up with book by the fire in my cozy chair! I’ve been knitting a bit. I did turn to my green wool coat and started adding more wool appliqué. As far as diving back into cutting out and getting back into sewing, I feel like you… I’m in a slump😳 I usually turn to spring about now, but the winter weather has me wanting to knit a sweater/cardigan. I may cast the on. That would lead to needing a few shirts to go with it😊 This video might get me going😊

I was on vacation visiting my son, his wife and my Grandson. I got to teach my DIL how to sew. She made her first garmet, a pair on pants.

Hi Tiffany! I feel your pain with the snow! We had 14-16 inches on top of 1/2 inch of ice last weekend. Then we got another 3 inches last night. Hopefully in don’t get too much more snow! We have been hunkering down and working from home too! 3rd largest 1 day snow fall on record ever. I finally got down to my sewing room yesterday and got my first Stanton dress cut out. Hoping to get it sewn up. The Arlington will be nice for you. One thing I found helpful on thicker sweater knits was to hand base the folded over pieces like the cuffs, collar pieces, waist band. The blue florals is a gorgeous fabric!! That dress for addy will be adorable! Best of luck getting Josh’s quilt finished! It will be so nice for the Quilt for Addy! That will be adorable and a challenge! So sweet of Mom to help you out! I really need to get button up shirts tackled. Thanks for the reminder of the fill Belly adjustment for my hubby! Happy Birthday Tiffany! Your plans for a nice cozy time at home sound great. I hope you can start on that adorable quilt for Addy. Or maybe you want to wait until Josh's is done??? I also got a bit burned out with Christmas sewing, then we had lots of company from right after Christmas to after new year's. I'm now back in my sewing area and very excited: I've cut out the beautiful stretch corduroy fabric I got using your wonderful and way-too-generous giveaway certificate for Stylemaker Fabrics from the viewer fashion show. The fabric is yummy. I'm using a self-drafted pattern for pants that I've tweaked a bunch of times, so hopefully it will sew up smoothly. And of course there are all kinds of ideas running circles in my head about what patterns and fabrics from my stash I can next sew up to go with the new pants. So I'm having a fun start to the new year. Thank you again for for everything and all of your fantastic vlogs, Antonia

I love your idea to make plans for what you hope to accomplish! I definitely need to give that a try! Surprisingly this week I got to sew up a half zip sweater for my daughter, and I’m hoping to finish up a baby quilt for a sweet friend!

I love making sweaters and both yours and Addies patterns are great. I an now snowbirding in AZ. We have a great sewing room complete with a long arm , sergers and a new Coverstitch. I do more home dec , quilting and bag making down here. I made 4 new valentine Placemats yesterday. Super fun a great to have people to sew with .hope your weekend is filled with sewing and birthday fun!

Happy birthday, Tiffany. You share my husband's birthday; he is turning 70. I hope you are able to have a very relaxing birthday. Love your plans. What are you wearing? I love the waffle weave sweater. I went to Let's Sew last weekend and saw some but am kind of chicken to buy and try to sew it. Are there any tips for sewing it? We are getting a lot of snow again. Flakes are small but coming quite heavily. Be safe, stay warm, and enjoy watching Addy play in the snow. Kids her age almost always love playing in the snow. You need to teach her how to catch the big snowflakes on her tongue.😊

Very nice presents from her and also from Josh - those irons are so cool - I figure someday I may get one, but in the meantime I gifted myself a couple of Joann gift cards for Christmas, something my husband would definitely prefer not to buy for me 😄!

Great gifts from your family. I asked for a heavy duty pair of scissors to cut zippers. My husband got them from Harbor freight under $10! I can’t believe how sharp and heavy they are.

Nice gifts! I bought the pinking blades for my rotary cutter, but haven’t used them yet. You’re lucky. My husband doesn’t have a clue about sewing notions. 😳😜 My daughter bought me a rolling sewing machine caddy (that I picked out), and I bought a sewing machine chair with my Christmas money from my mom. Nice gifts! I love those clips and anything storage. My daughter-in-law bought me a tailoring manual (I think it was on my wish list). I got a cookbook I was really wanting and some new kitchen items for bread/pastry making. In the past I’ve received items for organizing sewing things like small tools for marking or threads, scissors, etc.

Fabulous gifts! My hubby surprised me this Christmas by taking my grandmothers very old treadle sewing machine and turning it into a beautiful side table for me. I cried such happy tears!😊

Hello dear Tiffany!!! Wow you sure got the sewing goodies! So happy for you! Every one of them were grest and cute! Our sewing hobby is quite expensive anymore it seems! I have an Oliso iron but after I purchased it several yrs ago, I really wasn’t overly thrilled. But everyone likes something different,,, hoping you enjoy yours. Seems I never can get a hot enough iron temp. When we built our villa, the electricians put in heavier wire for an iron where I do so hoping my new iron works better! Must try it out! For Christmas I bought myself (Amazon) a new more expensive model of a Chi iron. Haven’t used it yet. Hoping it’s a good one. My hubs got me a wall mounted ironing board for my small space. It’s hung on the wall and folds out and the smaller board can swivel around. But the pad is way too thin. I bought some low loft quilting bathing to beef it up. Must get on it. I bet Addy June received a lot of fun things too. Hope you are staying warm and well. Us hereUp north,( lol!,,)We didn’t get a lot of this latest snow but we are covered well but just sooo cold. Hi Tiffany, you got some great gifts. I got a new iron for Christmas as well, however it’s not an Oliso. I love it all the same though. I also received 3 cuts of fleece fabric as well. My hubby did great this year.

You received so many great gifts Tiffany! You are all set for awhile 😊 My husband and I bought a new vehicle right before Christmas. I also received a gift certificate for a full day at the spa. I had 4 wonderful treatments and lunch. It was amazing!

What wonderful gifts. I have to say I got the most excited over the sewing gifts I had asked for and I received them! A seam gauge, Mary's Best Press (always need more!), 2 different sizes of rotary cutter blades, and two darling Mary Englebreit tins for storage. I bought an Oliso iron last year and I LOVE mine. It makes so much steam and doesn't leak. First iron I've had that doesn't leak. Happy New Year!

Wow, you received some lovely gifts from your family. I was lucky enough to receive the same pinking rotary blades too, can't wait to use them. I would love some snow, all we seemed to have had is rain and strong winds here in North Devon, U.K. I'm glad you had some well deserved festive time away from TH-cam with your family but I'm also really glad you're back with your positive videos.❤️

Tiffany, you could use the vintage dress quilt pattern and make a block every time you sew Addie a dress. This would become a keepsake quilt of her little girl dresses.

Such lovely gifts! You are very blessed for sure 😊. Last year I bought myself the Millie’s Dresses pattern, but didn’t have a plan for it at the time. I had an “a, ha” moment watching your video, however! I have some fabrics that were in my Mom’s stash, plus a few of her favorite tops. Mom made all my clothes growing up, including my wedding dress, so I think I’ll make a memory quilt with that pattern and Mom’s fabrics! I’ll change the name of my quilt to Opal’s Dresses ❤️. What great thoughtful gifts. I bought a Christmas quilt kit a few years ago and finished it last year. It is definitely my favorite Christmas item. That is such cute fabric. I’m jealous of all your snow. We don’t have any right now in Minnesota. It is beautiful.

Happy New Year! Good to see your smiling face again and know that you had a great December, even if all your sewing wishes didn't come true - mine didn't either, but the important things got done. I should really start in January for next year if I want to be sure of getting things done for Christmas, I guess 😄. Glad the dinosaurs were a delight to your daughter and I think your husband was surprised by the quilt, just not the way you had envisioned, and now he has the finished item to look forward to. It's a lot more important to surprise a child on Christmas, and you did, so what had to get done, got done!
