For weight capacity. Make sure you back out the weight of the Kayak, seat and drive. From online specs, working weight capacity is approximately 400 pounds.

Due to gunwale height and hull profile. The Big Rig is certainly still very capable

I guess... premium brand that innovates and isn't using old drive designs. Made in Sparta, Tennessee. Everyone wants products made at home, but then isn't willing to pay for innovation and quality.

at 5:58, WRONG about nothing else on the market with the auto kick up drive when it runs into something. Hobbie Mirage drive has been doing that for many years already.

I suppose.. but they are pretty different drives. This IS the fastest drive and uses prop with kick up feature.
