This was the first episode of the Office I ever saw way back when it was still airing on TV. My mom was sick and we loved having this immediate new comfort show to watch together 💜
I’ve listened to every episode of The Office Ladies, I’ve read 4 books about The Office, I’ve watched countless TH-cam videos about The Office and I’ve seen the entire series a couple dozen times. I just cannot get enough of this show! Thank you for this amazing and comprehensive video!
The way thats not remotely true. Talking about arcs and character analysis chronologically while showing important scenes and stopping on important episodes isnt a recap you slow-ass. Its almost as if having context of episodes and scenes is important to understanding the characters 😱😱😱😱
Romance and comedy and tragedy all pulled it together. Take your Daughter’s to Work Day was the first episode in which I liked Michael Scott because it showed how emotionally needy he was, wanting to have all those kids who would love him❤
You know? I didn’t like Parks and Rec initially cuz I felt it was copying the office. I just learned though that Paul Lieberstein worked on both, and that it was supposed to be a spin off with Rashida Jones being the tie in between the two. They even use Sabre brand printers lol….and oddly enough Sabre also makes an appearance Dexter. I guess I’ll give it another try
You’re telling me Michael could’ve potentially been there until the shows end??? Yet they never contacted Steve Carell even though he wanted to stay longer and as a result we got stuck with some of the show’s most horrendous storylines and awful character developments? WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL???!!!
"feminist insight" - you mean some woketard garbage takes that dont reflect what most women feel anyway. Alpha males and soy boys exist (and everything in between), and real alpha males are not what the american media portrays them to be. There is nothing toxic in it actually. Only the ones that want to be one so bad, without being that naturally, are loons. Sincerely, a woman.
That term has been around forever and it wasn’t always seen as a negative. It just meant a leader, dominant, assertive, intimidating etc. which perfectly describes the character of Charles. Pick up artists and other toxic “manosphere” weirdos perverted the term and made it a red flag. I assume these women are using it in the non toxic sense.
Omg an extended length take video on the office! As a huge fan of the show (I genuinely think it’s the best written American tv show) who also has criticisms about it from a critical race and gender standpoint I am soooo excited to see a TH-cam channel I really trust handle this show.
"We see Roy sabotage her happiness." No, we do not. They were a couple, these things need to be decided together. And crazy thing, she went to the course and did absolutely 0 with it, and she even "let go of her happiness" by returning to Scranton. Not sure why Roy gets a bad rep, Pam was no saint and never ever felt her doing anything for Roy.
Americans dont know Stromberg and Stromberg is a "the office" copy without the warmth. Stromberg is more cold and brutal, more realistic so to speak. Nobody there really feels like they are a big family at the end. Some scenes make you cringe so hard and make you feel bad because there is just so much nastyness going on. Nobody truly LOVES the characters and wants them to be happy in the end.
Showing sexist characters and a show being sexist are different things. It’s how the show portraits these moments (either as good or bad) that make a show sexist. And how the office does it is debatable.
Its not for dim woketards who grow up with the worst streamlined garbage shows that ever existed. The majority thinks its funny because we dont have a stick up our butt and we see the complexity of the characters.

This Video isn’t an analysis, this is a recap

This is the second time they’ve called a recap an analysis. I’m just about done with this channel.
Romance and comedy and tragedy all pulled it together. Take your Daughter’s to Work Day was the first episode in which I liked Michael Scott because it showed how emotionally needy he was, wanting to have all those kids who would love him❤
Totally a comfort watch. At least once a year I marathon both Office and Parks & Rec
Same

I clicked on this video SO FAST when I saw the notification. Best show ever!
Feels so heartfelt to revisit all of these moments
You’re telling me Michael could’ve potentially been there until the shows end??? Yet they never contacted Steve Carell even though he wanted to stay longer and as a result we got stuck with some of the show’s most horrendous storylines and awful character developments?
WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL???!!!
Dwight Schute is the greatest American sitcom character of all time. Change my mind.
Why do you want to have your mind changed?
One name: Nate
George Costanza
Ron Swanson
@@RaeReviews95 I do love Ron
Please make this a series!!
Somehow José still managed a longer video despite having a fraction of the episodes to work with.
?? It's not a competition lol
My strange addiction
31:15 "he's an ALPHA male"??? i didnt think this woman run channel full of great feminist insight would use a term like that so casually...
HE KNOWS THE EFFECT HE HAS ON WOMEN;)

Do a similar video for Boy Meets World!
I love that show
I love this channel, but this is barely an analysis. It's mostly a recap.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts if you ever feel like making a video of your own, or even just commenting here!
This isn’t an analysis of the series, it’s just a summary.

Im watching it right now
45:47 This was because they were going to do someone sleeping with someone else

I expected an Updog reference with the name of the sponsor. I'm dissapointed
Please do all the seasons of Better Call Saul in one video like what did just now with the office.
Do one on the female and queer themes of Six Feet Under series it's ripe for a breakdown
This video is a huge disappointment. You did a lazy recap, not an analysis
The colors r calmy
I wouldn't the American one surpass it as in England we don't do shows as long or as many
Please do Attack on titan ❤
That is definitely not "good advice". Jesus christ.
16 seconds. That's how long before "iconic" was mis-used.
Invest in a thesaurus.
No it wasn't. But whatever makes you feel smarter.
Stromberg was better

Pam's mural is terrible
I hate that show. Sexist and not funny
Showing sexist characters and a show being sexist are different things. It’s how the show portraits these moments (either as good or bad) that make a show sexist. And how the office does it is debatable.
Sorry to hear you have no taste
