What I'd do to own one of these again. I had a 95 Civic coupe as my first car. It was an EX with a 5 speed manual, but it was white in color. I miss that car. Owned it from 2006-2009.
I had a 93 civic coupe that I sold and later regretted it. This imo is the best color these came in. A very special car and one of the best designs from Honda's golden age. Looking forward to seeing you restore it.
Great pick up. I believe this is the same vehicle I inquired about. I’ve picked up a few cars in the past by using the “restoration” story (which was true).
I just picked up a 1995 LX Sedan Manual with 88,000 miles on it from the original owner! Its in very good shape but needs some minor cosmetic stuff, along with a power steering fluid leak. Otherwise, it runs like a champ. My plans are to restore it, along with tighen up the suspension for some precise handling.
I love it...I didn't know any of those DMV laws. The good thing about these cars is that there's tons of aftermarket parts and in no time you should have it looking sweet... If the timing belt is a chain don't even change it... It's basically brand new... You might want to look at the chain guides though... Honestly these cars are basically bullet proof... It sounds great and idles great....I have a '99 infiniti G20 and it runs like a demon.
So less than a portable audiophile MP3/Flac player, lol! Much LESS! I can understand the impulse to revisit ones youth. I think a lot of us think about that. But, usually we're fantasizing about some muscle car from the past, a corvette, mustang, charger, firebird , camaro, etc.
Interesting. Typical Japanese car from that time. If it doesn't have much rust you're gonna be fine. I used to own 97' nissan primera, it was really reliable but it had a lot of rust and that finished it off.
I've done high end car audio before in the 90s. In fact, I was a certified IASCA sound comp judge. Still have the pin to prove it. lol... As I get older, I like the simplicity of original. Did you see the 92 Acura Integra on Jay Leno garage? They appraised it for $18K.
Such a good purchase from the original owner! Makes sense why the car is so unmolested.
Wow what a gorgeous Civic. This is a collectible. Will last you another 10 years. Lucky you’re in Cali with no rust. Have lots of fun 🚗 💨 🤩
90s was my favorite era for cars. Best combination of analog technology and modern, clean designs. Congrats, Mike!
Awesome that you found one with a stick. I miss driving a manual!
That car is a very very good example for the time.
Clean, please film the restoration! Love Honda content!
A Teal 95 Honda Civic was my first car. Great vehicle!
Nice to see videos of other hobbies of fellow audiophiles 👍🏻
Solid buy.

very nice! everyone i’ve talked to about this car has fond memories of their’s. such a great era for car enthusiasts.
Why'd you sell it?
@@jiditsar928 needed something better and more practical
Congrats! That is a great starting point!

Love this so much I hope to pick one up soon too and Im excited for the future journey with the car!

CLEAN!!!!!!!!
Yeah personally also dislike any spoiler on 92-95 coupes. The trunk has a natural “ducklip” curve to it.
Great car..I wish you all the best with the restoration reach out if you have any questions.

@@SnickterP congratulations! a great car to restore. I just did the entire suspension on my civic. will have video shortly.
I just got my first 95 civic coupe with no abs
New spark plugs would be a good start!
Where are you sourcing the new windshield....I love the rear wings on these.
12:00 best sound ever!!

yeah parts are mostly easy to find and cheap. Unfortunately timing chain started in 1996 for Honda. Agreed, 90s cars are simple and very reliable.
Got one. To same color. With out the sun roof
very nice! pls. make a video on yours. I would love to see it.
What?!! Just remember that a Calvin sticker will give you 5HP =)
damn my dream car...😊i would to buy this from you if you ever decide to sell it...
appreciate the compliment. :)
Thays slickkkk
I own one I try to study as much information on these cars as I can.
Why?
I cant find this year, make, mosel anywhere for sell. Especially stock. Where should i look?
Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace is where I was looking for mine.
I’ll sell you mine. 😅
@@ricardosom7766 information sir on the ride..
Does it hold a significant amount of antique value?
more nostalgic value than monitory. lol
BEAUTIFUL and an excellent deal. I just purchased a 93 coupe dx stick 160k on an engine they put in. Mine isn't as pretty. ❤❤❤ENJOY
do you have video on your 93? I would love to see it!

Hello, if you are still trying to get rid of one of your Beats Pro. I would love to offer!
Send me an email, in the About page of the channel.
I have a 95 civic dx, if you want it.
@@hg2blackcat411 I wish I have space for another car. Do you have a video on it? I would love to see your Civic.
Where can I find the spoiler?
You can't they are rare and very hard to find they cost around $100 if u can find one and you will have to drill and connect the wires urself.
What's size are the tires?
tiny... 185/60/14 so small Costco doesn't even sell them. lol...

I get that you want to keep it original, but as an audiophile, why not put in nicer speakers?
