Really hoping this blows up to the point that you're forced to model the entire runescape map

    • @aharris206

Could you imagine? Lol . . . If I'm calculating right, at this scale, the model would be 26²ft (≈8²m)

The house is Lozar the mage’s from dragonslayer 1. Who was killed by goblins and doesn’t even get a grave, and even the lorekeeper refers to her house as the “goblin house”!!
    Justice for Lozar!!!!

Something you said reminded me of when I was younger. My family would do home made Halloween props. Our most proud prop was a brick wall made from styrofoam. We discovered that spraypaint dissolves the styrofoam, and we used that to create the spaces between the bricks. We didn't plan it, we were just trying to paint while we considered how we were going to do that step. The walls were to make the garage more narrow to hide stuff like the fog machine and audio equipment. We got comments how real they looked, one person even stating that we're insane for bricking our garage like this.
I wanted to share this because of an earlier comment you made to experiment and find things that work for you. It's incredibly rewarding to find something that odd trick that works for this particular need for your project. This is what is so much fun about artistic hobbies and why I think this series is so homey and enjoyable to watch. Seeing your creative process through something we all know and love.

Using the straw on the Mod Podge to get the water rippling effect blew me away. Great work again! Also, to get good detail on small scale parts with 3D-Printing, you need a high resolution laser (for X & Y detail) that can also do reliable thin Z-height printing on your resin printer. Some can print Z height layers of 25 microns (0.025mm, or 0.001"). It increases the number of layers to print, so going from 100 to 25 microns it'll take 4 times as long to print. If it is an SLA (resin) printer, you don't want the part / character you print to be on the print bed surface. Your slicer program should have a setting to print the part with a full raft & supports. If it is a small part, the support's touch point to the part needs to get small as well. On a side note, I got my Mythical Cape today, cleared the Dragon Slayer 2 quest finally.

Acknowledging that a model of whole map would be ridiculous it would be cute to see mini models appear of famous structures like Blue Moon inn, Varrock West bank, GE, Draynor Manor, Fally Park . This serious has been a great change of pace from usual content I watch. I don't have the skillset or brain power to be creative however I appreciate the art and unique take.
