“made a meal and threw it up on sunday ive got a lot of things to learn”....Noel said he rang his mum after he moved to london and she was on at him to eat properly so inwent to the shops and made a roast chicken dinner but fucked it up and gave himself food poisoning
at the time of recording this, this was all that was in the band, bonehead and Guigs had left, and Andy Bell and Gem were yet to join so they did this on their own
Talk tonight , cloudburst, underneath the sky, don't go away gmex 97 ,where did it all go wrong ,slide away album version, masterplan unplugged, going nowhere, fade away warchild version , hey hey my my familiar to millions.
Guys you should check out Liam's solo version of Stand by Me at his 2019 MTV Unplugged concert, he sounds almost as good at that gig as he does here at the pool. Keep up the good work!
All time favorite this one, I love a sober Oasis performance!! If you want to see a crowd, have a watch of Fat Boy Slim on Brighton beach playing 'It just won't do'. Now THAT is a crowd!!
One of my favourite performances from them. I remember walking to the bus stop listening to their second album for the first time, late 95 when it had just come out; and remember smiling when hearing the album’s title track “what’s the story morning glory” 👏🏻.....try that, not live, album version.
I think this was at Bonehead's house, I could be wrong. This performance is definitely a fan favourite. You should react to Champagne Supernova at Earls Court in 1995. One of their best ever performances.
@@michaelfallon3991 Nah, Bonehead and Guigsy left a bit before SOTSOG was released. Both had actually recorded their parts for the album but had to be taken off the final mix and both parts re-recorded by Noel.
Check out : -im outta time -Guess god thinks I'm abel -born on a different cloud -songbird -boy with the blues These are the best tunes liam has written for oasis as for his own solo career bold, when I'm in need, and I've all i need are some of his best
Been waiting on this one boys 👍😁 , Oasis fans appreciate your appreciation of our iconic music , growing up with these tunes was a privilege and pleasure
@@robsol123 all of what you just said 💪 remember watching this on the BBC documentary and Liam nearly cried, proper welled up, peek tabloid madness too
The Smiths, The Jam, Joy Division, The Housemartins, New Order and The Cure would all give you a varied, new look at British music from the 70s-90s. All different styles but all iconic in their own right with some of the best/emotional song-writing and lyrical pieces to ever come from the British isles, aside from the artists that already made it big crossing the Atlantic 👍🏼
I’m so glad - this is one I recommended - I’m made up to the max!! X one of my favourite bands doing one of my favourite songs in one of my favourite videos being looked at by one of my favourite TH-cam channels, life is good right now!! X 😎😎👌👌🎶🎶🖤
Yes! Lads this is the version I wanted to see your reaction too. How biblical was that 🙌 I’d give everything to see this magic again ✌🏼💙🇦🇺 BTW luv your videos
Definitely check out a lyric video of I'm outta time. Written by Liam and off their last album. Liam's best writing in my opinion. Keep up the great work guys. Greetings from Adelaide, Australia.
Check out liams performance of don’t look back in anger at Glastonbury, on the other stage( Glastonburys 2nd stage, pyramid stage is the main stage) 1st time he has done it live, very emotional, tribute for Manchester attacks. I live a mile away from the festival site and there is always a buzz months before and after around the area. I love it!!! Love your channel!!! 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Absolutely love this song and especially this acoustic performance of it. And to your question at the end, there are loads more oasis and Noel and Liam solo stuff to listen to don’t worry lads! Keep it going! 👍
Those boys could do it all, man. Super talented, the both of them. Check out the live version of this tune from Wembley in 2000. Great lyrics on this tune as well. "So what's the matter with you? Sing me something new Don't you know the cold and wind and rain don't know They only seem to come and go away"
The UK's largest mortgage lender recently used this as a soundtrack to one of their adds, to brilliant effect. The lyrics about life, how we never know what's around the corner.. it's s good ad using an excellent song!
This was part of a documentary released in 1997 leading up to their 3rd album being released, not sure if it was from boneheads house though tbh, the documentary is great and show them back home in Manchester hanging out in pubs with locals etc
On BBC, they came home, city had just changed from umbro to kappa, they had a huge 3rd album buzz, showed us Mr sifters 😂 was a class documentary, Liam welling up from peek tabloid intrusion, he was very young too
Back to watch this again today. Still fun to watch you lads being blown away by Oasis. Spencer, you mention Noel's voice getting "better" here, although I always preferred his rawer sound. Try his acoustic version of Morning Glory at Earl's Court in 95, and then the full band version of DLBIA on the second night at Knebworth.
Yous should listen to go let it out, great tune. Good live version of it at Wembley 2000 aswell. the meaning of soul at the Brit awards 2007 is another good one and written by Liam. It's short but is very good live and a very good tune
Liams barnet on this one is 👌 This was on a BBC documentary, in interview Liam got quite upset and welled up, pressure of the tabloids and hounding by the hacks was taking its toll
I feel like this will never get done cause I've asked so many times ahahaha but Fade Away NYC 1994 is incredible. You guys really need to hear it for a good rocker.
When it's stripped down like this you can really hear how well Liam and Noel's vocals complement each other. Liam's coarse rasp and Noel's smooth falsetto. Fucking perfect. These two were just *meant* to be in a band together. I guess you could say it's like they were part of some kind of masterplan.
You guys need to try some Supergrass. Their song "Moving" is brilliant. They do a live version on TH-cam from "2 meter sessions" which really shows how good they are.
Have you done a video on Liam's song that he wrote himself that got to top of charts called Songbird ?,Noel says he doesn't believe he wrote it lol its good.Luckily I was at an age that I had income to to attend their concerts and a perfect age of 25 the first time I saw them live at Loch Lomond and they became an obsession for quite a few years up and down the country.
maybe check out liams preformances at the one love manchester concert his voice was pretty good there plus the preformance from him was one of the most memorable from that night
If it helps, Spencer, for your test live video just now you were doing, when it was showing as LIVE, there was no chat. Plus, that was Boneheads house there by his pool

I think it’s just She’s Electirc that you are missing in terms of the biggest hits. She’s Electric is one of the most played songs on the radio over here but very few examples of live performances as Liam doesn’t like it. If you are reviewing acoustic songs - Noels version of Slide Away (just him and Gem) for Teenage Cancer Trust is I promise you the best acoustic song you’ll ever hear.
Spencer: “yeah yeah yeah” “right right right” 😂 Could you do some Coldplay from the first 6 albums? Probably the most successful british band since the Beatles globally
This wasn't a weird time musically for the UK. Indie/alternative became more mainstream, Britpop was huge. This was my era, the 90's and I'm Mancunian. We went to 42nd Street, 5th Ave or the Venue for the best indie disco nights. Oasis was played alongside Blur, Pulp, Suede, Stone Roses, Charlatans, James, OCS, Happy Mondays, Ash, Shed Seven, Elastica, Inspiral Carpets, Primal Scream, Radiohead and so many more!
I scrolled a long way down the comments but nobody seems to have pointed out the pool location is the album cover. A Rolls Royce is in the pool. They must have done this little set whilst they photographing the album cover.
Never stop reacting to oasis lads, the rabbit hole is deep
Agreed! Barely got started, still more solo stuff and dare i say early Rain demos
Facts shame they have 😩 so many more live preformances they haven’t done of the same song

The camera work on MTV video is superb the camera man deserves an award
This is comfortably in my top 10. Particularly this performance.
