Fun fact: Noel had already written the song in 1993 but waited to release it until on the third album in 1997. The genius had such a treasure of songs.
Loving these oasis reaction tunes.....what's really cool is you watch the live shows instead of the official music videos which dont show how good Liam's vocals are until you hear it live!!! Keep the tunes coming!!!!
Liam’s voice at the end where he’s literally screaming, “and I know and I know, I want ya to know…..” is awesome! He changes up some of the lyrics too. Like, “I want u to know” goes to “I know that you know”, etc. Noel’s backing vocals w the “na na na na na na na de na na na na…..” are really cool. This is one of their oldest tunes. There’s a video on here that shows them playing at their rehearsal room on the Boardwalk before they were famous being recorded on some kind of VHS recorder. And guess what? It’s great too. Loving Spencer and Daniel find out how much passion, energy and great songs Oasis produced. The catalogue is almost endless. Noel was a prolific songwriter and still is……
@@garethpuckering1673 my ex wife went with her boyfriend before I met her... She was always trying to rub it in, but I was like “yeah, but you were there with a dickhead!”😂😂😂
@@dantastic6262 you could only buy 4 tickets at a time too. Took me fucking hours. You won in the end mate. The prodigy was better than oasis in all honesty
It just wasn’t the album the critics wanted them to release at that stage. If a different band came along a few years later and had this as their debut album they would herald them a s the best band since oasis ironically
G-Mex is an old train station in Manchester. It’s acoustic shape made it epic. I literally couldn’t hear properly for 5 days. Best gigs I have ever been to. Bring back the 90s
Got to see their last gig, i lived over the road from the park they played in so I just sat with a beer the other two days I didn’t have tickets for, so good.
A new Band for you Stone Roses - Fools Gold - I am the resurrection - I want to be adored - waterfall By the way this is one of Oasis favourite bands next Oasis song should be - (Columbia) its a top top song
Gmex Manchester, I played "Liam" in an Oasis tribute band in the rooms opposite this arena, looking through the glass port hole window at the stage, thinking of this particular song.
The Be Here Now album was, and still is, heavily criticised for being "over-indulgent," almost every song is a 6-8 minute epic. All around the world in fact is over 9 minutes.. Then has another 2 minute reprise later on 😂 But who cares, there are so many classics, the album serves just as an ode to 90s drug-fuelled excess. 'Stand by Me' and 'I hope, I think, I know" are my favourites from it
Check out this tune here on youtube when they were practicing this song at their old rehearsal studio on the Boardwalk in Manchester. That was before they were famous and they even sounded amazing then....it's fun to see u guys amazed by this band. They were incredible!
Found your channel yesterday and been catching up on all your Liam/Oasis reviews. Amazing, good energy from the both of you, Liam is doing Knebworth again next year as a solo (got my ticket) can’t wait for you to watch some of the no doubt mind blowing footage of such a big gig. Keep up the great work, notification bell on 👍
Thanks Guys for doing these video's. I'm a brit at 45 from Manchester so was 18 when I first heard Oasis and 19 when I picked up a guitar because I simply had to learn how to play 'Talk Tonight' (Watch it do a vid!) I'm seen them many times, Maine Rd, Earls Court, Wembley, Lock Lomond and a broken generator at Heaton Park, watching you guys seeing it for the first time takes me back to how I felt all those years ago. Crack on boys great stuff. Talk Tonight please OR the acoustic 'classic' version of Live Forever. Mad for it
Love these vids can crack me up lol only thing not seen u realise wen got straight faces it's cos high af on ectasy like we all was weekends partying in 90s. Keep em coming lads.
This was when Oasis was at there peak .We do good music 🎶 in Manchester . For me G Mex was the best place to watch gigs It was an old train 🚂 station in the middle of Manchester so many gigs that I went to there happy days 😄😄
There is a video of them rehearsing this song in the boardwalk where they practiced before making it big .. The boardwalk is about a 5 minute walk from the GMEX
I was at the all around the world concert in my home town of Manchester UK, I went to the gig both nights. Liam was on fire 🔥 his vocals were brilliant. Check out the gig at Mane Road Manchester that was on par.
Thanks. I have been telling everyone that really diving into oasis this late in life is strange but I feel like I am able to appreciate their music more at this age. But I am becoming a huge fan. Thanks for your time much love.
This song is off their 3rd album Be Here Now. Believe it or not this album came in for major criticism and bombed. I personally loved it and still do. There are some really good songs on it. This one, stand by me, girl in the dirty shirt ect were all great.
you guys should do some songs from the MTV unplugged gig. no liam, so noel took over lead vocals for the show. 'round are way' and 'some might say' are amazing.
Without doubt my favourite Oasis gig in a long line of Oasis gigs, don’t think the band were ever tighter than they were at this point. If memory serves me right they were supported by Travis and Shed Seven. Noel came on stage with Travis to play ‘all I wanna do is rock’ good times 😀
You did miss the final couple of minutes of the performance, which was the outro solo. But apart from that, it's great to see you enjoying these Oasis classics for the first time! If you really want your mind blown further; This is a snippet of this track from back in 1992 m.th-cam.com/video/MoQxjNm0gIw/w-d-xo.html
This would be a top 10 Oasis song for me if it was 4-5 minutes long. It's unnecesarly long. Just repeats the same lyric over and over again for 5 minutes. It's still epic and I love it. But man, cocaine added some unnecessary minutes.
The thing with reacting to the live performances is that in the early days they were always off their faces on drugs and hadn’t slept for days before shows
If y'all enjoy these Oasis videos, consider liking and subscribing! We want to do a livestream of us reacting to an Oasis gig of your choosing once we hit 1,000 Subscribers!
Please react to stand by me music video it’s amazing
done. until then, react to 'round are way' from the 1996 MTV unplugged gig.
Why was my comment deleted?
Maine Road 96 either night! love following your guys discovery. Wish I could discover them again.
Maine road 1st night 100% one of their best gigs and played in there footy teams ground iconic
Fun fact: Noel had already written the song in 1993 but waited to release it until on the third album in 1997. The genius had such a treasure of songs.
i think he made it a bit earlier at like 1991 or 1992
@@manuelhammad5061 Yeah I might have mixed up the years but either way its brilliant that he did that.
There's a vid of a demo version from back then on TH-cam.
He wrote the song in 1992 maybe earlier. I think Stand By Me as well.
Noel was prolific! He produced so many great songs in a few years time.
Liam's voice was perfect in 97
The way Liam sings "please don't cry never say die" 🤯 Of course the whole thing is awesome
Probably one of my favorite Oasis live moment, makes me cry every time, so good !
Fade In-Out from the same gig will blow you away. MAMA!!
Liams voice is like a jet engine. Awesome gig. Next up, Fade In Out live from the same gig
MAMA!
Comin in outta nowhere!! 😎

“All of their shows must have been sold out”... You’re right! Knebworth had over 6million applications for 250k tickets!!!!

Oasis stay young absolutely banging vocals. Deffo worth a listen lads
that song is incredible
The longest ever song to reach #1 in the UK charts.
This song and this performance is an absolute masterpiece. Some of Liam's most powerful vocals!
Liam was a God back then. I saw this tour but in Birmingham, 80 miles away. He did it exactly the same. Perfection.
Really enjoying this oasis journey you’re on guys. One of my favourites you need to listen to is Little by Little.
I was here is was amazing one of the top 3 oasis gigs I witnessed , but you still must see fade in out from this gig, my hair is till standing on end
Excellent new podcast. Keep it going from Scotland.
This album was so unfairly criticised in the UK.

Lets be honest... Its not that good

@@abcd12340529 I disagree. At the time I loved it and still do. Only one dud track on the album in my opinion.
The tunes are a bit long but absolute anthems I love this album ❤
Haha, yes! You've cottoned on to 'Sheeeiiiiyynnneeee' 😂

UNREAL VOCALS!
A new Band for you Stone Roses - Fools Gold - I am the resurrection - I want to be adored - waterfall By the way this is one of Oasis favourite bands next Oasis song should be - (Columbia) its a top top song
You guys should do Columbia live at Barrowlands, one of Liam’s best versions of Columbia I think
Enjoying these reactions guys keep them coming
Gmex Manchester, I played "Liam" in an Oasis tribute band in the rooms opposite this arena, looking through the glass port hole window at the stage, thinking of this particular song.
250k people were at knebworth over the two nights guys. Gmex holds around 20k people. Ahhh the 90s, can't remember most of it ✌️
Keep going fellas. Love it
Check out the chemical brothers song "let forever be" . It was written and sung by noel Gallagher, but with a funky remix

Try reacting to oasis acoustic songs like talk tonight to see if u enjoy them too
"Where did it all go wrong" jools holland 2000 is amazing
Agreed, talk tonight and going nowhere would be great
Fade in-out Gmex
Knebworth was 250,000 over two nights, this gig was was like 15,000 people.
A good listen is the cover of 'My Generation' by Oasis.
Reacting to all around the world, we’re gonna be hear a while
The 250,000 people was knebworth not the gmex

React to headshrinker live by the sea 95 amazing gig
My brother went to see em in the 90s he said it was the best he'd been to...
You actually missed the best part of the song. Still 2 mins of a stunning solo.

yeah theres a diff version on youtube that has it. that is one of the best parts
Little by Little is my favourite. If you liked masterplan you will love Little by Little

Don’t look back in anger - Argentina
You should try Fade In/Out from this same gig. Absolutely biblical.
One of their best concerts imo

How is that nobody suggest them yet to react to Cast No Shadow at Knebworth 96??
I was at this show. Sorry lol
Missed Noel's solo at the end, shame 😢
This tune became an Oasis great
I hate being only 24, I missed out on live shows of my favourite band, and being from Manchester myself, salt in the wound
Also yes Shi-yine is my fav bit of every time it shows up in a Liam song
😂 the way Liam says shiiiiine is just our accent up north 🤷
Please react to live forever at Maine road you see Liam react to Lennon picture on the big screen and he bows down mid performance

Watch the video of them playing this song in their tiny rehearsal room before they were even close to making it big.
