Funny, I got the exact same chair and the same subpac. This thing really change my mix for the better, I use to have lot of issue on the sub when playing my track in club or big stage, since then, not anymore (but sometime still issue on the mid/high :) ).
The thing I like the most with the subpac is when I want to layer kicks or bass, with this, I can really align different sounds phase precisely and so it's more punchy and solve some problem before mixing.
If you buy one, just do this test, take a kick with some low end information in it, put a sine with a synth (sylenth is great for that cause really easy to move the phase), play a low note at the same time as the kick and move the phase of the sine on the synth. At some point you will feel the punch when it's exactly in phase. From there, you'll understand the power of the subpac, and even with a sub, it's really difficult to have that kind of precision (maybe with a great sub and a well treated room, but still need to push the volume really high to have the same sensation)

blows my mind how usually the most talented and diverse producers usually always have them so minimal set up. super clean and practical i love it!

The big thing to take away from this is don't go mad with the settings. Set it to one thing and keep it that way and don't change it. Otherwise it's like changing your studio monitors again and having to re-adjust yourself to the new "sound".
But again, Subpac is one of those things you just gotta try to understand. It's hard to translate that into a video.

All that talk with a bunch of hand movements. Can't even see it much less how it's connected.
