I understand…our elderly Boxer has the dog version if Lou Gehrig/ALS. He’s starting to lose the use of his back legs…which means our time with him is not long. It’s so hard.

Chihuahua’s. Once you get one you will never get anything else. I did the same thing to my husband. He was so mad. That was 15 yrs ago and we have had 5 of them since then. 3 are with us currently. I drove 15 hours to CA to get our 3 lb baby. So happy for you guys. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is literally the most magical place on earth I've ever seen, besides maybe one or two eastern temples. You can definitely tell a witch was living there for a long time, tending the land and keeping its spirit alive. It's rare to come across such places in reality, it literally is like a dream. Please take super good care of the land and the animals living there. Remember, YOU'RE THEIR GUESTS, not the other way around. Also, I'm like 90% sure a big enough owl would definitely try to eat your dog if it thought it was a rodent. Keep an eye on the lot of them, you're the new stewards of Balance in a realm where banality is the only separator between entities.

This is literally The dream property!!! When you fence off the area, will you have wildlife crossing tunnels underneath it for your tortoises and snakes and whatever other critters? Im sure you know fences can be big hurdles to wildlife, and just to make sure you can sustain all of the beautiful nature there it could be a cool idea! Plus, wildlife cams!!

I've had a facination of anything thats like a crocodile. I like hearing all the facts about them. especially saltwater ones, even though we are prey for saltwater crocodiles, and they actively hunt humans.

I always had Pitbulls and Presa Canario, I never was a fan of small dogs then years ago one of my daughters wanted a small dog I got her a little female chihuahua and that little girl became my very best friend I ever had in my life. She died last year and I have not been the same never a second goes by I don’t miss her and I will until I die. Give her a chance she will be awesome!!

Don't stress about the perimeter fencing, by the way; even if you can't fence the whole forty acres right away, you can always add more fencing over time. Stick with it and before you know it the whole place will be an impregnable fortress for nature. :V

The range of the barred owl is pretty wild, we have them up here in Ontario, Canada, even in the snowy dead of winter. They're very successful owls!
