You’ll have to excuse the heavy look in the centre of my face. I applied the same amount of concealer as always because I forgot I’d placed the foundation under my eyes. I then had to over blend onto my cheeks which created a heavy foundation look. This foundation is definitely not heavy. I’ll wear it again in a future vid xxx
I chuckle when I hear you talk about letting your products soak in or the foundation dry down. If I am going out of the house and wear foundation, I never start getting ready early enough to let anything dry down much. I wait until the last minute possible to get ready and get out of the house. I really enjoy your videos.
I’m with you. There are a couple of young drama free women who do great reviews but I have to agree, I may watch later depending on the product as I’d much prefer reviews done on people closer to my age (and skin type). Gemma is prob at the younger end of those I pay attention to, and as I really value her mum’s experience (being bang in the middle of those two), the info is very very helpful to me and saves buying the wrong thing and wasting money.
I'm not a big foundation wearer. At 67, although I have good skin I find many of them look too heavy and aging so I go more for a BB cream. However it's always good to know what's out there. Thank you for listing the lip product you're wearing, it's lovely.
I absolutely love this stuff, and it looks amazing on you! I find it smoothing and a little glowy at the same time, as well as feeling lightweight. I powdered lightly with Hourglass Ambient Light powder. It does transfer to my mask, especially if I forget to set it with MAC Fix+. I'm 57 and have a few things to hide, and it did the trick well without looking like makeup. I'm about NC 25-30 and 41 worked well for me. Your closeups are awesome!
Alright I’m going to pick your brain every time I see you comment. 😂 I’m NC 25-30. Did you find it oxidized a lot ? My neck is just so light. Light and green. I’m 53 and I have a few enlarged pores from having oily acne prone skin when young. I really want to give this a go. Decisions decisions.

I've worn it a few times and it never oxidized on me. Maybe it mixed with your skincare? I'm almost 60 and have tried everything I LOVED THIS! No primer just a spritz of setting spray and a tiny bit of powder under my eyes to set my Nars concealer. It wore really well for me on my visible pores and fine lines. I think I found a winner!
I still REALLY miss the Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless original foundation that was discontinued. It’s the only foundation that is everything I need to look natural, conceal, stay on, and look not accentuate anything - pores, dry skin, nothing. I wish they would bring it back and a lot of other people do too. I don’t get why they discontinued a holy grail foundation for literally every age and skin type.
I’m 45 and have been using this for a while and really like it. I don’t get any oxidisation. I use a brush as my 15yr old steals all of my beauty blenders! The only other tinted moisturiser I use is the by terry cc moisturiser.

I ordered The Ordinary, (serum based) light with pink. In the US it was $6.70 from Ulta. There are 21 shades. I’ve used it today, just as soon as I opened the box. The only criticism is I ordered slightly off. I wanted to be normal and ordered Light. I knew I was Pale! Lol (wishful thinking). But I’m not sorry because it is so easy, quick, smooth and provides coverage. So I’ll be ordering again - in my true color. Hey, at $6.70 I can’t lose! I really like it. I’d recommend it.
Ive been thinking about this one for a while now but didnt know anyone who had actually tried it to hear what they thought of it. I might have to bite the bullet and order it. Thanks Donna :)
Thanks for reviewing this tinted moisturiser Gemma, great to not only do ‘foundations’. @@RJGreg Personally I am more of a single malt, but I agree with the overall premise! Speaking for myself, I know for a fact I have improved with age - I am healthier and a better person than I was 10 or 20 years ago.
I wore this foundation today and applied it with my BK101 brush then pressed it in with a sponge like I do with all foundations and it was great. I usually have pore issues, but I have been using the beauty blender primer which has nearly erased pore issues. I am 63 with dry/normal skin. I built it to medium coverage and I think it oxidized a slight amount.
I'm wearing this for the first time today. I'm so glad you mentioned it oxidized! Based on that, I ordered a shade lighter than I normally wear. I'm so glad I did that, because once it did oxidize (and it did!) it was the perfect shade. It doesn't look glowy on me, but it could be because my skin has been dehydrated lately. I lean towards normal/dry skin, but this isn't accentuating any dry patches which I'm happy about. We'll see how it looks at the end of the day, but so far I'm happy with it. It has not transferred onto my mask, that I can tell. I only powdered under my eyes.
I'm glad you've done this. I've seen one or two people mention it but as you said, not much conversation about it. I'm interested in an Urban Decay hydrating foundation though so...
O I like the look of this. I'm the opposite I can't use a brush or a sponge to apply foundation. Even worse, I do the majority of my eye shadow with fingers too 😂. Think I'm going to have to try this xx
May we have a link to the very expensive crystal glass or whatever it was nail file? I left my awesomely perfect glass nail file in my desk at the office, and they're not letting me back there for at least another 4-5 months or so... 😒
I ordered the sponges from Amazon that you talked about in a recent video. I’m definitely late to the game for using a sponge but I’m a convert. It’s so much simpler than using a brush and a sponge doesn’t kick up dry areas on my skin like a brush does. I also don’t feel I need to be as precious with a these sponges because they are reasonably priced and I can pitch one after awhile and move on to the next one.
Thank you for this review Gemma 🌞. Based on your video, I was interested in trying it until you mentioned the info about the product oxidising. Shade 10 as it is out of the tube looked fab but after oxidising it would be too dark on my pale skin. I'll wait to buy something more suitable instead. x

When the "dewy/radiant" foundation trend started, I tried to find a foundation that worked for my skin. After months of hating the way my makeup looked, I realized that with the large pores on my nose, all the products accentuated them. (My dad had super large pores as well, thanks dad😉). Even after using pore blurring primers and powders, my pores still looked terrible.I finally realized that I needed to go back to a semi matte foundation, adding radiance with other products. I'm wondering if I should try one of these products again?
Not this one Patti. I’m guessing you’ll not like the pearlescent finish. Pearl particles are lovely and radiant but if you want to hide pores they’ll do the opposite. I might have a foundation for you next week. Xxx
I've been mixing a very silicone heavy sunscreen with a foundation serum and beautyblender bounce foundation and the finish looks A LOT like this. I may have to pick it up just to avoid having to mix products. 🙃 But then I'll need a new sunscreen. 🤣
How does this compare to IT cosmetics cc cream? I have 2 full size IT in normal and illuminating so only want to buy another foundation/base right now if its something different and rather special?
It's totally different. This is a radiant finish and is thinner in consistency, doesn't contain fragrance or essential oils, you can sheer it out, it's long lasting....the list goes on xxx
Hi Gemma that amount of oxidisation is a complete no for me. I can just wear the 10n shade in UD in the original naked foundation (don't like the updated version or the full coverage foundation on my dry skin), but even with that I sometimes needed a little white mixer. All that oxidisation means the 10n shade won't work on me at all. It's a shame, because otherwise i would have been interested in it. I'm grateful you told us about how orange it gets as my very cool toned skin would look like I'd been tangoed. Best wishes.
Hi Loraine Hearing you that the amount of oxidisation makes the product unsuitable! Although it's mildly disappointing to not be able to try this, Gemma showing the oxidisation was very helpful. x
What do you think of this product compared to bare minerals complexion rescue? I love complexion rescue I have found an amazing way to apply it I do use fingers, I use a pressing motion and I do not rub it in but press it in and use ring fingers to lightly spread here and there for blending but it gives so much more coverage and no mess and blends perfectly. I want to try urban decay but not sure at this time.
I didn't really like complexion rescue. It's nice enough but too temperamental to apply for me and it tends to go patchy and pill. This is nothing like that xxx
I do agree with a smaller hole is so much better than I bigger one! I usually do BB creams with my fingers, not a huge fan lol, all other foundation I use as a sponge or brush. The sponge didn’t show your pours as much as applying with your fingers imho. Does it sink into fine lines? I need something that doesn’t do that. Ant recommendations?
I’m so very happy I watched this review first before I purchased. I was ready to buy in shade number 30 however once you made me aware that it oxidizes I will need to purchase shade number 20.
@@PamperedWolf Oh, I see. I tend to be between shades, and I could always mix and add a liquid bronzer if needed. I’m thinking I should still stick to the lighter of the two. I really do appreciate your feedback, thank you!
Kinda reminds me of Dream Cover.... packaging & application maybe....& tackiness. Looked pretty good though. Not sure about radiance part, since I’m 59, I try to hide stuff & not draw attention to my wrinkles & pores, spots & sags. Lolll...Idk. Might work.
I have the Touche Éclat All-In-One Glow Foundation and I love it (thank you for recommending it). But it's so hard to find, maybe they are discontinuing it. Could this Urban Decay be a good substitute for it? It sure looks it would 💕
Ate they going to discontinue that one? I know Gemma and Jan Love it so, and I wanted to try it, but I keep putting it off, cause of the shade matching difficulty, online. If I had ever purchased any face product of that brand in the past, I would probably just buy the same shade, but I never have.
Looks lovely. Is it as hydrating as the Estée Lauder futurist because I find that too hydrating and my pores definitely look larger when I have this on
After your comments about setting spray, please watch Wayne Goss recent video on them, it’s an eye opener and may change your way of thinking about them. I know it has me. Once again a well informed video Gemma.
Wayne has always been an advocate for setting sprays and swore by them in the past stating with evidence that they do work. Setting spray will make your makeup last longer if used in moderation. If you stick your face in a bowl of it and then rub your skin like you have a cleanser on, it obviously wont. Haha. xxx
Would you say this foundation reminds you of or is similar to It Cosmetics better than skin foundation plus skincare? I don’t think I can go wrong with either, just not sure what my skin needs more of as far as the ingredients go?! I’m torn on which to go with. I’ve seen this review as well as your It cosmetics one a few months ago.... Any advice or recommendations is appreciated! I am 33, light , neutral/cool tone, lines and wrinkles(forehead, under eyes smile lines) , dry/ dehydrated skin at times, peach fuzz, redness, yet freckles I like to show through so I don’t like heavy coverage at all. I feel either may me what I have been looking for recently. Glad to be a new member of the wolf pack! :)
Have to pass, my pores are toooo large and in charge for this kind of formula. The No7 protect foundation has the same kind of tube and opening which I like, too. For some reason, I always get a kick out of seeing you outside, like ooh, there's England (never been)!
Im having a tough time with under eye concealer these days. I’m getting fine lines (38) & the concealer and powder settle. Not a cute look. Suggestions? High or low end, doesn’t matter!!

Hi Loraine
Hearing you that the amount of oxidisation makes the product unsuitable!
I mention this in the video Michelle. It didn't travel into fine lines for me xxx
Did you use a dry or damp sponge? It looks flawless on you 🥰. I just got it and can’t wait to try for the perfect application
I'm happy with my £7.50 L'Oreal Expert Hydra Energetic Healthy Look Tinted Gel 50 ml from Boots.
Having shattered a glass nail file, I know your pain. AND to top it off, Sephora was out of stock for months.
I’m so very happy I watched this review first before I purchased. I was ready to buy in shade number 30 however once you made me aware that it oxidizes I will need to purchase shade number 20.
Some people have said they didn't get that oxidation issue xxx
It sure looks it would 💕
This is nothing like the All In One Glow xxx
@@PamperedWolf ok💕
Ate they going to discontinue that one? I know Gemma and Jan Love it so, and I wanted to try it, but I keep putting it off, cause of the shade matching difficulty, online. If I had ever purchased any face product of that brand in the past, I would probably just buy the same shade, but I never have.
I need to try this :)
Looks lovely. Is it as hydrating as the Estée Lauder futurist because I find that too hydrating and my pores definitely look larger when I have this on
I don't think so. xxx
@@PamperedWolf thanks Gem x
This is the first time I’ve heard of this foundation
Looks nice, i would like to try it 😍
After your comments about setting spray, please watch Wayne Goss recent video on them, it’s an eye opener and may change your way of thinking about them.
Haha. xxx
Thanks for the review!!
Love the kind of this, shame about the oxidation.
Do you say bumfun? I can never understand that word
What shade did you use ?
Gorgeous!
Does this foundation have any glittery particles/shimmer in it? I love dewy foundations but not if I sparkle when the sun hits!
It's not sparkly but it has a pearlescent finish xxx
Why would you not say what shade you’re using???
I just might have been sat waiting for this!! 😊😊
1st and happy, 💃🎉💃🎊💃🎉💃🎊💃
Me too. 😂 I hope I don’t like the look of it because I’ve got too many foundations 😲

I bet you will Trish, I now know it's a perfect foundation for me (like you, I have quite a stash!). 🤪😊😊💗
Im having a tough time with under eye concealer these days. I’m getting fine lines (38) & the concealer and powder settle. Not a cute look. Suggestions? High or low end, doesn’t matter!!
Hi, lots around, for concealer tips look up Risa Does Makeup, Elle Leary, Wayne Goss, Robert Welsh to name a few, other suggestions should start popping up if you watch a few and you may find a wide variety tips helpful as you can cherry pick to suit your concerns. Search Gemma’s video list on her home page, she’s bound to have something there too. Best of luck!
Check out my new under eye concealer video. I also have lots of undereye technique videos in the tips playlist xxx
It has marula oil. Will this foundation break the skin out?! I really want to buy this but the oil ingredient scares me off 😢
It might. It is lightweight oil but can clog pores depending on your skin type.
Could someone please help me. I am fair to light with a COOL undertone and shade 10 looks way too light but 20 looks warm and 30 looks too dark 😅
Love your reviews! Unfortunately I don’t like the look of this one. Looks a little cackey. And this for a ‘skin tint’. Looking forward to the next review though!
Interesting Gemma. At seventy I think I’ll also give it a miss.
You are too cute, enjoy watching your videos
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤👍
I find tinted makeup is nearly always tacky and it usually irritates my skin
2 nd
Second place! Wow. We 2nd place folks just don’t get enough praise. Lol!
Not for me! Thanks for video 🦋
Disappointed that it oxidizes.
Me too as I've now got to buy the correct shade xxx
ew why filter it that’s so annoying
