Mate thanks for the video, the two spring mounting plates are the originals fully welded or stitched, is it easy to get them out I need to do mine, regards Wayne
G.Day Mereside. The 4mm spring plates on our bus were originally plug welded from the top and stitched from the underside to the 3mm? spring carrier which is spot welded to the chassis rails and floor. I had to replace the floor so i removed them from above once the floor was out. Possibly you can try removing them from underneath and if you can´t get them out mavbe you can cut 2 holes in the floor above the spring plates to gain access then weld in 2 floor patches once the spring plates are back in? thanks for watching. I am editing the next bus episode now so hope fully it will be up soon. Cheers.
Brilliant thanks my floor isn’t that good and been thinking I should do the lot so you have made my mind up thanks for your help👏👍 looking forward to your next instalment
Can see you are very patient and determined as ever but🤔 Have discussed it with you other former workmates here in Australia and we are going to send a care package New gloves and a pair of scissors to remove the manbun 😂😂😂 Have you done a trip to Wolfsburg to visit Autostadt?? Did you know the most factory manufactured part Volkswagen have ever sold is a wurst??
G’day Paul. Can you please add to the care package a jar a vegimite??Large size!! Yes the man bun went a while back in real time. It had done its job and “angered” enough people so off it went due to it getting in my way. No Wolfsburg yet but on my list. I did suggest we buy the VW wurst as a gift for my father in law but we opted for the after market brand available at the local supermarket 😉
Отличная работа! Гдето на грани ка,ественного ремонта и реставрации
Beautiful work, wouldn't mind learning from welding and metalworking videos you might do
Thanks for the encouraging comment! I have content to edit yet that is more welding based.
@@whatisbrendanuptonow7552 yay!
