the code red is a cool idea but no dct tuning is the same issue as everyone else is having. plus the fact you pay 90k for a gt500 then send it out and pay $209,000 more for the shelby name but done by fathouse. 300k is insane knowing you can do build motor twinturbo etc etc for 120 to 130k at the most. for 300k you can buy a Audi r8 and a gt500 or a gt500 built to 1300hp a 1500whp built motor mustang gt that runs 7 plus a trailer and a tow rig
It’s probably a lot because you get a roll cage and a fully built motor and better performance out of their twin turbos like the owner said
It is absolutely insane! But, those rich guys all have the $300,000 sitting around and they’ll buy this up! Just like all of the other Shelby stuff.

Your comparing a extremely special and limited production GT500 from Shelby America that's a race car and not a street legal Mustang. You can build a restomod Mustang GT and spend well north of $100,000 for what is still a Mustang GT and sell it for $60,000. Keep in mind a track only aluminum 5.2 580 horsepower crate motor costs $26,500 from Ford. My guess the Shelby GT500 Code Red will be a collectable vehicle that will go across auction blocks above the completed price. It's a vehicle for those want to race it, or those who collect specialty cars. Shelby has taken the Shelby GT500 close to Hyper Car status. If your a specialty car collector with a big bank account. This is the car. The key to this GT500 is that it becomes a true Shelby America GT500 Code red.

An amazing GT500 that emulates the Shelby America Code Red GT500 minus a built engine and a few other specialty performance parts. The expression on your face and the sound of that Shelby GT500 from small pulls placed me in the seat of that bad ass Mustang. You know fast Mustangs and I respect that you respected that Stang belonged to someone else. Hats off to the owner for giving you the opportunity to drive his 1300 Horsepower beast while dodging police throughout your drive. I've followed Palm Beach moving towards Twin turbo Shelby GT500 and GT350 customer builds. Robs becoming the Garu for building these special blown Mustangs. Great video Stangmode. I'm hoping for a follow up video regarding that test drive.
Yeah I watched Dons GT500 getting built on Mustanglifestyle channel and that car is sick. I don't blame Stangmode for not getting all the way into it, especially first time driving it. Those twin turbos hit hard on that car

Right dude. I was in a 900hp GTR with twin turbos and it's violently fast. Makes you rethink wtf you are actually doing in the car because it can easily kill you just like that. Accelerating that fast always throws me in panic mode as a passenger. If I'm driving it's fine but I still get that sinking feeling in my gut like "oh 💩!!!" when driving a turbo car. I've been driving 17 years and I'm pretty sick behind the wheel but turbo and supercharged cars scare the 💩 out of me tbh.

He let dude drive it bc he knows these cars and is a good driver, they are known for kicking its rear like a wild horse which I could only imagine this car without the track package. My 2012 gt500 Shelby cobra svt handled like a dream, unfortunately catching the woman I loved with john doe in my fathers bed that I just set up in my house a week after he passed is something no man or woman should experience. Needless to say Shelby had to go so I had the expenses to start over far from my ex. I now regret selling Shelby every single day. Has and always will be my dream car! Sadly I had to sell it before the oil change was due. Bought it with 18k miles for $48k sold it for $12 with 20k miles. Biggest mistake of my life for selling so cheap. Huge life lesson, never get with a nurse at work if they leave a note on the front seat of your car saying "hey sexy", burn the note instead trust me!

Turbos are so much cooler. I have a 13 gt500 and a 2021gt500. Supercharged. 18 911 turbo s. Turbo is the best. Love them. Just bought a 368 skater catamaran with twin 1100hp twin turbo motors on each side. It pulls so hard in the water once the turbos get wound up wow. Should run up around 175mph pretty quick. And no speed limits out on the open bay. Zoom.

0-60? I have a 2004 v6 mustang I have some performance in it and make 193.6 hp and 206.7 torque 0-60 7.9 seconds but I love the gt500 I wish have have million dollars I can buy a supercharged gt500! But I'm sticking with my v6 mustang good gas mileage but ys I want to know the 0-60 on the twin turbo on gt500. 2.9 seconds or 3.0 seconds?

That's some expensive horspower. Went to the fathouse site and just for the 1k gt350 tt package is 69k. 800 wheel on 93 and 950 on e. That 1300 package for the GT500 must be big big money

That car is so dope. But I couldn't see myself doing that to a Gt500 if it were mine. I'd have to go buy a code red or do a TT GT build. I think Stangmode made the right choice keeping his GT500 supercharged.
This thing sounds like poop compared to my stock supercharged baby. But I do think that the super wealthy will buy the Code Red anyway just because of Shelby name, and it will likely become a collectible due to scarcity. Most of the people who get one will likely just store it in a garage. I bought my Shelby to actually have fun with it haha. But to each their own, right?
Edit: and oh yeah, the factory warranty gets voided as well when you get it “upgraded” into a code red

Turbo is the best forget alldat supercharger crap i have a twin turbo set up for my 2022 mach 1 handling package 10speed auto.
I would be afraid of ripping the back end out, with all that power also. LOL.. It takes time to learn how to drive a car like that, without wrapping it around a tree. Bad-ass car.
