New raid sniper gets chill clip. Add anti barrier sniper and it does all 3 champ types in one weapon
If it has anti-barrier, chill clip won't stun overloads. Was confused why my chill clip riptide/deliverence wouldn't stun overloads only sometimes last season and realized I was radiant (super easy to proc with the artifact mod) and so it negated ability of the gun to stun overloads using the gun itself. It still can freeze and then stun unstoppables though with the shatter, as that's a separate action.
Voltshot for instance can stun overloads even with anti barrier because you have to activate jolt on a jolted overload to stun it, which is a separate action from the gun applying the anti champion behavior itself.

Riptide etc with chill clip can stun all Champs.
Radiant blocking the stun wasn't intended and got fixed

eh icandescent on most specials is pointless i dont see why you would pick an ad clear perk for a single target dps weapon

@@markjohn3875 well bc i’m not wasting my special ammo to kill ads and i’d rather have vorpal or something to deal extra damage to the high health enemies

Ikelos SR vs Fathers Sins? seems like either are good, unless im missing something.
Fathers is Void so you missing out on artifact perks if you choose that...Ikelos would be good though - especially crafted.

I shot all the oracles before I was able to acquire all 4 intrinsic traits for Whisper of the Worm. Is there a way to reset the oracles or am I just screwed?
the oracles reset after each encounter from what i was aware of... i would check bungie forum maybe?

@@ProfaneProductions vorpal is a 15%buff to bosses on special weapons and explosive is a permanent 15% to all enemies
@hikozzy The numbers behind explosive are flimsy to say the least. While you're kinda right the buffed % isn't exactly 15% unless it's a bodyshot which you won't be going for on a sniper.

@hikozzy Again yes and no. Direct quote from the API "Splits off 50% of the Weapon's Bodyshot damage into an Explosive damage portion that deals 30% increased damage in PvE and isn't affected by damage Falloff.
[PvE] Total damage is increased by 15% of the weapon's Bodyshot damage. For crits, the overall increase is roughly equal to 15% divided by the Crit Multiplier."

Still Hunt is getting nerfed next week. And, its current content that everyone has to get to just beat the campaign. So why put it on a list of ones to get?
@@failfurby even with the nerf it+celestial its still the best dps especially with the artifact mods coming. Whisper is only good for long dps phases because of box breathing.
And it’s already on the list, plus it’s a sniper list so it would make no sense not to be on there.
