Lol this is a bare minimum. When you have 80 characters in a moba and you have slowed down the development of new characters then you have to keep the game interesting from balance patches. And unite patches have been small and too far spread out, it's just the last surprise patch that was good that we forget that.
If you had told me ehen I first started playing the game back when Garde was released that eventually it'd evolve at level 7 instead of 10, I would have looked at you like you were insane beyond saving. Garde's come along way from evolving from Ralts to Kirlia at Lv 6, doing pinpricks of damage with its basic attacks and reeeally having to conserve its Unite Move due to its charge rate. Really excited for these Goodra and Aegislash buffs too, I love how these Pokemon play but there's almost always never been any reason to use them. The Blissey buff is insane too, can't believe both my mains got a buff this patch.
I actually forgot about that, omg. Same thing with Charizard evolving at lv 9 I think, and Mamo evolving at 10...and Garchomp evolving at 10 too I think. It is crazy how diff it is lol. Unite was a bit more passive back then I feel like, but now it's more aggro imo

I understand that it is squishy. But it can counter its problem by stunning and pushing them away so unless you're Espeon, Glaceon or a good speedster, it is literally very difficult to get close safely. Teaming against it can work but it requires teamwork and you know soloq

Pretty good patch imo, though a few things got missed like sylveon's hyper voice, the aforementioned aegislash, etc. Garde main and I'm kinda surprised about the level change, I honestly didn't think she needed any changes but I won't complain.
This really highlights the biggest issue with Unite, lots of great changes and some weird ones. However, nothing really exciting or interesting. Barely nerfing Umbreon while also buffing it, if they treated any pokémon like the Eevees it would be top tier.
The umbreon nerfbuff makes it more skill sealed so nah it's a really good change and I wish they needed the boosted health but it's definitely a good change
@@Shadow-no6uo It depends, as someone who has been playing Goodra since release (and a 64% winrate) a Goodra in a full defensive build can effectively hold off an enemy team if the level disparity isn't too great or outright kill the enemy team if the Goodra is significantly ahead. In a meta that where everybody is usually rocking X Speed that cancels out slows it is nice to be able to keep them stunned for a little longer when I smash into them and keep them pinned where my team (hopefully) follows up.
i use Ironhead on Aegislash all the time it's a great brawl build. and in all honestly wideguard is a noobtrap, its fine but its long cooldown just stops you from being able to commit to a fight. going against smart opponents, as soon as you use wideguard you are locked in place and the opponents can just walk away from you.
I know you're confused about no buffs to iron head but I feel as though almost any buff that timi does will just completely break iron head at this point
I agree. I feel like too many WG Aegis expect it to be vastly different from, or worse the same as, Wide Guard. They just expect it to block everything. Which I want too, but like Mimi's passive. Nullify dmg but for a brief window that takes skill to call.
the sylveon change may seem small but 5% for mystical fire means an extra 5% scaling which mathematically is a lot more damage since a large percentage of sylveons mystical fire is from base damage (not affected by special attack)
Of course, they nerf Greedent and A9 but refuse to touch Mimikyu! I wish unite would give actual needed changes for some of the pokemon! And would they please stop nerfing pokemon that didn't need them!? The game has so much potential, but the TIMI doesn't know how to properly balance their game.
Aegislash not getting a buff to Iron Head is insane but I don’t play Iron Head so I can’t really complain. I wanted a second reduction off Wide Guard but I thought that would be greedy and unrealistic but holy crap it happened. The stat changes are a super nice welcome. I still want to see the unite move have an energy reduction.

I’d like to see adjustments to master rank system. If you’re playing as a duo or trio, points earned are less than of you’re a soloq player on that team, they also lose more points than those soloq players. It’ll maybe counter the fatigue you feel as a soloq player being given back to back duos or trios who basically pretend the rest of their team doesn’t exist 😅
Hmmmm, that item to change the appearance of the unite license... Makes me think you can choose from different poses of the pokemon but most importantly, maybe pokemon with different looking forms can be added to the game with the ability to choose the form before hand. Like Toxtricity or Lycanroc. Maybe you can make it show Scyther instead of Scizor. Or maybe if they have gender differences like Pikachu or Dodrio, you can choose between those to
I do really like Zacian, but it feels strange to be going back to its original energy values. Will be interesting though. I think Alolan Ninetales was fine, but sure, I guess I see the thought process. With the rest of the patch, I welcome it. Kinda liked Wigglytuff's damage, but suppose we'll see, and I like the overall patch and ideas behind each change.
more skin, more buff to units that don't even need it, just to accommodate the use in the statistical meta and its variable in the game, debuff for units that really should be kept, instead of fixing it so that other units can be used in the game in general and thus the meta is more complete.

Aegislash - I feel like devs gave up on iron head and I'm fine with that. Buffs are OK but won't change much IMO, they didn't touch parts of its kit that actually need attention. Blissey scary Wiggly - very cool change, a give and take approach.
Ironhead is actually fine you just have to time it right so you can get the boosted and CD reduction, maybe just alittle longer on the window for its shield but thats it.

I hate these two most. I can't even move and gets beaten badly whenever I use a meelee allrounder. All they can do is stun stun and STUN! thank god A9 and wiggly got nerf but still their hindrance is same man!
I’m pleased to have aegislash buff but I can’t help but think this developer is genuinely stupid. They mean well in so much as they recognise aegislash needs a buff but they’re too stupid to buff iron head/shadow claw. They do this sort of thing all the time.

The problem is that water bear needed its cooldowns. It’s such a core identity of the character. It won’t be that good without them
