FTR, I am a retired, professional music critic, with 45+years experience. Nothing has changed my thoughts, on what my uncle told me - the Philippines did and still does have more talent than any other country. Here is elite, Apex level, international caliber, singer right here. Morissette Amon is one of the top 10 to 12 Pop singers of all time. I saw Whitney, Celine, Mariah, etc, live, in their Apex level singing eras - Morissette is in their class.

She begins with that unassuming smile and then the music starts....she turn to the mic and she finds the character and the event of the song and then Morissette the vocal assassin kills the song. Mori's 2020 performance of O Holy Night that she did at Christmas time last year for Favor Church where she attends will scratch your worship song itch and get you in the Christmas spirit as well. Her 2020 version is my favorite rendition ever of that song and has a terrific arrangement.

For a more R&B/jazz performance, check out the live version of "Will You Stay," co-written and produced by Morissette. It is rapidly becoming my favorite Morissette song because it is not only brilliant musically but it showcases where she is now as an artist compared to your previous viewings that are all at least 3-4 years old.
Check out Morissette’s live performance of “AND I AM TELLING YOU” (sung originally by Jennifer Holiday and recently by Jennifer Hudson). It’s not gospel, but it’s old school soul, where she demonstrates her squalls and growls that you typically hear from black gospel performers. Very powerful performance. You will not be disappointed. But western entertainment keeps blocking our local artist 🤣 remember there's a disney song that sang by our local artist and when the views surpassed the original singer of it, they blocked it in certain places. That's one of the example why Philippine entertainment is always in the dark.

If you are going to stay on the Morissette train, I would suggest "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "Defying Gravity". There are others who can amaze just as much. Add to your list; So Hyang, Katrina Villarde, and Gabriel Henrigue. They all will enthrall and enchant you. Then there is the best, Dimash Qudaibergen. Try either his "SOS" or Sinful Passion". Blow you away, he will.
MOri's such an amazing artist. I have never been obsessed about any female vocal artist until I heard her sing. I flew o Vancouver from Calgary a few years ago just to see her in concert and she is even more amazing live. you should listen to her version of Fly like a bird.

Morrisette was promoting her 2018 "MADE" concert series, which was to tour Manila and the Provinces of the Philippines, and then Dubai, when she performed Akin Ka Na Lang on 107.5. Depending on the time of year she was 21 or 22. She just turned 25 in June of this year. She is a much more mature and accomplished singer and performer now. During the pandemic, in that she could not do live shows, she has been doing digital livestreams, performances, concerts, and digital live performances of her new EP. An EP she co-wrote with her fiance', Dave Lamar. She, Dave, and Xergio Ramos, produced the EP, which was released August 20, 2021 through Underdog Records PH, a label started under her management, Stages Sessions, for the first single on the new EP, Love You Still. She recently released a contemporary worship song, Water Walk, under Sony PH, another new label, Water Walk Records, concentrating on worship songs by Asian artists.

You want worship? Then watch 'Will You Be Messiah'. You will be completely destroyed. The video came out earlier this year. Then I would recommend any of her live performances with her band singing originals she co-wrote with her fiancee from her new EP entitled 'Signature'. They are 'Trophy', 'Mirror, Will You Stay' 'Phoenix' and 'Love You Still'. She has matured beautifully.

There are just so many aspects to Morissette and her voice that makes her so good.
Many singers have a few points that make them stand out a bit, but Morissette has the complete package.
Great looks, a voice blessed by god, flawless control in all her registers, insane ability to really bring the essence of a song to life, the ability to tell the story in of lyrics and make the listener believe it, dynamic artistry AND she can do what so many "great" artist fail to do on a consistent basis, she can actually do everything Live.
Her Rise Up cover from the Wish 107.5 bus she both sits down AND she was sick with a cold during the performance, all live.
Granted there is a mixer board as it is a radio station so she has access to reverb and such effects but she never use auto tune in he performances like many pop artists do nowadays.
Most singers from the her country think it's blasphemy to sue auto tune, and they a re for sure correct.
Auto tune can be used to create cool effects, but should never be used to adjust bad pitch imo.
Some of the charm of listening to a skilled singer is that you can tell if you got a good musical ear that it is in fact live, that it is a human singing and there are nuances that pierce through, giving away that they are in fact human, but that only makes it more relatable.
But MIss. Amon's voice is something special, she really hits me right through to the core of my soul.
