Just seen this video, shocking they even expected you to pitch there and at £40 a night, disgusting. Obviously one to avoid! Its so disappointing when you travel to a place and get a welcome like that. I think leaving was the only thing you could do.
Its was bad later that weekend I was told 50 caravans and motorhomes were towed off site by the harbour master..I have booked to go this year in September but a hard standing its a area I really wanted to visit so will give it another try.
Thankfully i got a full refund.weather got even worse i was told that weekend 50 camper evacuated and the harbour master towing motorhomes off…pro is the campsite is on marshland so floods easy…i only needed a phone call that morning to stop me travelling 135 miles for nothing.
What a crappy situation Ian.The wardens should have found you a more suitable pitch or at least allow you to stay where you had originally parked the van.What happened to common sense? You must be seething mate, I would be.A nice break ruined by incompetence.🤬😠🤯😡
Unfortunately being bank holiday they said no other pitches were available by then the weekend had been spoilt and I just want to go home. Been speaking to them today hopefully Suffolk Council who run the site will issue me with a refund on Tuesday.

No way on this earth I would have stayed or Paid to stay on there that place is not for me thanks for the heads up
