London Loop: 8 Deluxe Boo Lake: 8 Deluxe Alpine Pass/Rock Rock Mountain: 8 Deluxe Maple Treeway: 8 Deluxe (Mainly for the smooth transition loop) Berlin Byway: 8 Deluxe (I know it's a controversial pick, but this is just my opinion) Peach Gardens: 8 Deluxe Merry Mountain: 8 Deluxe Rainbow Road (3DS): 3DS (That's right. I didn't pick 8 Deluxe this time, because there is in-fact one song from Wave 3 where I prefer the original. Only by a margin, but still...)

Well I did this on the past 2 waves, so here are my preferred versions of each track's music. London Loop - Tour (Something about the guitar used makes me prefer it over 8DX) Boo Lake - 8DX (This is my favourite track from Wave 3, and the music perfectly fits the vibe of the track) Rock Rock Mountain/Alpine Pass - 7 (It feels like a lot of what I liked in 7's version was stripped away from the 8DX version, both in the music and the track design itself) Maple Treeway - 8DX (Wii is nostalgic, but the harmonica used in 8DX makes my ears and heart melt, I can't help but love it) Berlin Byways - Tour (The Tour version of Berlin Byways is my favourite song in any Mario Kart game, this wasn't a hard decision) Peach Gardens - DS (I can't really tell much of a difference between the versions, but I prefer the more minimal style of DS compared to 8DX) Merry Mountain - ??? (Even after listening to both multiple times, neither stuck with me. Merry Mountain is the track that is the most just kind of there in the franchise. I guess Tour has the more bombastic intro?) 3DS Rainbow Road - 7 (Something about how it was composed feels more magical and dreamlike than 8DX's version)
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed something a bit off about the guitars in London Loop, at least the second guitar that kicks in. The Tour version sounds more… grungier, a but more punkish? Meanwhile the 8DX version is more rock/heavy metal vibes.
My thoughts on all of these: London Loop: the original is my favorite song from Mario Kart Tour (and also one of my favorite Mario Kart songs of all time), and I’m so glad it’s back. Both versions have elements that cancel each other out (for example, the beginning sounds better in 8 Deluxe, but I like the lead guitar at 0:14 better in Tour), so this one is a draw. Boo Lake: a good majority of official remixes of Mario Kart Super Circuit songs are painfully mediocre, or just flat out bad (the only exceptions are the Bowser Castle (sans MKDS) and Sky Garden remixes, Peach Circuit from DS, and Ribbon Road from 8). However, the 8 Deluxe remix of this _isn’t_ one of 'em (the Tour remix is though). I used to think this one was a tie, but the 8 Deluxe remix just kept growing on me, so I prefer it now. Rock Rock Mountain: the OG is my fave song from MK7, and I’m happy it’s returned as well. In-game, it sounds like they removed the synth at the end, and I wouldn’t have liked that. However, listening to it here, I can clearly tell it’s there. Like London Loop, both songs have quirks that surpass each other, so this is a draw as well. Also, both this and London Loop have overthrown DS Shroom Ridge as my favorite new remix they’ve added. Maple Treeway: this feels pretty weird for me to say this, but the original definitely wins this one. The instruments in the 8 Deluxe remix are a lot more grating. However, the actual racetrack is better in 8 Deluxe without a doubt. Berlin Byways: in-game, it sounds like they totally removed the distortion from the techno portion. Listening to it here, there definitely _is_ distortion, but it’s a lot less prominent, so minus points for that. I also don’t like the added flute in the orchestral portion. Bottom line: the original wins (the remix isn’t bad though, in fact I also find it worth listening to) Peach Gardens: same deal as Maple Treeway. 8 Deluxe’s remix is more grating, so the original wins. Merry Mountain: both versions aren’t really my vibe, but if I had to pick one I’d go with 8 Deluxe’s version. Rainbow Road: the original was already one of the best songs in Mario Kart 7, but 8 Deluxe took it and made it ten times cooler. Adding 909 hi hats to the beat? HELL yeah! (909 hi hats are BY FAR my favorite kind of hi hats) On another note, this track has *finally* overthrown 3DS Neo Bowser City as my favorite retro track in the game. All in all, this is so far the best selection of music we’ve gotten in my opinion. While it doesn’t have the least number of songs I dislike (that title goes to wave 1), wave 1 only has one song that I consider up there with the big dogs, and that’s Shroom Ridge. Meanwhile, this wave has four songs that fall under that category.
The Rainbow Road remix sounds like an arrangement some Sega composers would come up with for the Mario & Sonic Olympics.
I also had that same thought too.
Nah, it's more like Sonic & All Starts Racing Transformed
I could imagine it in a Dream Event pretty easily.

What is the different of version Maple treeway for Wii and 7
Pretty sure the difference is extremely minimal, except for the sound quality ofc…
